Why can't they have women security Guards to monitor women passengers, no Muslim female will have problem with that.

I am sure that must have been offered, as it makes sense. If not then their protest is justified.

Those of us who have traveled in SE Asia would recall that no body searches are carried out while boarding . Wondered why ?

We are scanned as we move along - its already happening.

Freekin I don't know what you've researched, but its an inverted image. Take a snap of it through your cellphone, open it in photoshop and hit the inverted filter upon the inverted image. IT will show you a full color shot.

To be not forced nude... (even for a split second) That is one of the basic human rights of a civilized society. It is an unnecessary measure to replace normal pat down, private strip search.

Yeah the picture that the New York Daily posted looked blurry and you could barely see anything. So I thought it wasn't a big deal and the women were just over reacting. But since it's in color and pretty freaking clear... i don't want my nuts to be exposed.

Ladies officers can take "female passengers" to private room and check them properly

for mens its ok..... since 99% mens don't care about their images being stored like that or they can also check them in a private area if they have any kind of doubts

i don't mind scanners....... but if anybody do not wish to pass through these scanners..... they can should have alternative ways too

The body scanners a COMPLETE violation of ones civil rights, they are basically forcing people naked, and even though one might argue that it's just an image, the genitals are CLEARLY outlined as well as the breasts for women. This is COMPLETELY against Islamic teachings!
