Yes, if you take a pciture in a public place which is not meant to capture the photo of an individual/individuals then it is absolutely fine, but that person said: in a democracy. I can actually take pictures of whomever I please.

On the other hand, that woman with hijab shouldnt have made a drama out of it, just ignore it, what is the harm.

I don't know why this woman made such a song and a dance over this and bringing in religion.

Go to Malaysia or Indonesia, which are Muslim countries, and there is no one raising Cain if you take photographs.

All drama to draw attention to oneself!

The Pakistani Foreign Minister, Ms Hina, was a photo oped in India and she was delighted. In fact, that is all that was done during the meeting since nothing substantive emerged!

And I am sure Ms Hina is a prettier woman than the one who raised this shindig!

That is absolutley fine as i said, but dont you think the statment by that photographer was a bit strange?

Actually at first I thought so too (keep in mind he could have just been exaggerating) but I wouldn't be surprised if that was true either! It all depends on Canadian law.

I don't even feel like responding to this. This is the stupidest thread I've ever seen. So what's the topic again? Oh wait, you were writing a Java class and decided to open up a thread here just to frustrate people? Go write your loop. I've got about 33 of you guys doing that for me.

It is sad when people start to bring stupidity to a forum where people can share ideas and respect each other. You have a lot of muslims in India too. You should be used to the culture and Toronto is also very diverse. So I don't know I can understand the brain malfunction that caused you to open this up. Again, go back, work over time as expected and complete writing the code. Thank you.
Yeah right, i am churning out a Java library to detect Islamofascism in the Internet and just wrote a RSS feeder to detect all synonymies of the root word detecting the same, which keeps on pulling such threads out for me, while you're crowing about hiring programmers to do that and in the meantime waging Internet jihad. While you're at it, why don't you even proclaim about being the next Bill Gates with a multi-billion industry to hire coders all over the place ? You need humility to even manage those guys working under you.

satellites taking to many Photographs of Earth that's why the too many Earthquake You know :agree: :D

You should've revealed this decade ago. Time to arm our soldiers with SLR's instead of guns. :D

I informed the lady I was in a public square in a democracy. I can actually take pictures of whomever I please.

Google was sued by people taking their pictures without their due consent.

BTW wat is the use of taking a picture of a Burqa women ???

This is the problem with Islamists...When they are in minority they play the secularism card(that is we have to care for their religious laws and sensitivities) but when they become majority, the secularism becomes evil and they will do commit genocide and say that is the will of Allah !!!

that's ironic and they call Indians ( read Hindus ) as hypocrate on this forum.

if that man is really innocent then that lady should be told to say sorry to him or should be fined.

Omar,

Let me assure you that this Islamophobia is something that rankles me also.

But then let us search within our hearts.

What is leading to this type of phobia becoming commonplace?

Now, suppose a Hindu from India or a Hindu from Pakistan suddenly goes into a meat shop and brings down the carcasses of cows and burns it up in a butcher's shop in Pakistan because it affects his religious sentiments, would you applaud it and say that the Hindu is right and his sentiments has to be upheld in a Muslim majority country, where beef is a staple?

Therefore, this attitude of forcing your religious sentiments in a country that is not Muslim is a bit over the top and not quite rational.

It only encourages Islamophobia!

right. when you are in Rome do what Romans do.
