Good work...Humanity is always greater than God and there is no substitute of humanity. ..Humanity should always win.

I for one never understood the concept of worshipping Allah for heaven. I mean seriously? Does it mean Gandhi in hell and Osama in heaven?

Even educated Pakistanis are telling "Shirk" for something good for humanity as a whole.

You will understand neveryrhing if you read Islam and its history...if you don't have time there are some good websites to give you knowledge like Ali sinas website.

Becharey Musalman. Yeh kuch bhi kar ley, rahey ga kutta hi in the Hindutvawadi Bharat. Either live like a dog or ghar waapsi; Indian Muslims dont have much choice.
They key in the article was he did that to inspire his students. Obviously, he was teaching Hindu children in this case. Inspiring children is God's work, maybe not in Pakistan but of course Indian Muslims are turning out to be poster boys of real Islam not the ones who kill each other for no reason. There are lessons to be learnt, if you remove the lens of hate that has been taught by your society.

Why are there any religious symbols in schools anyways?

Schools need to be free of religious influence.
good point, as a kid it never occurred to me, did my schooling in one of the better known schools in Delhi.. we had small morning prayers which was basically just going thru the motions and we had a Saraswati statue, which made sense.. goddess of knowledge etc... but there were no muslims, there was this one kid 'nazia' who joined.. but she was gone in a few days

maybe it is a big deal to some people..

but then I did my high schooling in another institution and a good friend from the neighborhood (who happened to be a muslim) attended too, got good grades, had no problems sitting through 10 mins of morning prayer and is happily settled overseas with his "hindu" sweetheart from back then.

I also know many "hindus" who got their education in convents and never had a problem with any of the "christian" stuff

so not all of them, but mostly it's the muslims who have a problem with this stuff.. there was no "indoctrination" or religious brainwashing in the schools I attended, just 10 mins of headache to endure and then it was all math and science and etc..

Is that why Christian missionary schools have the picture of Jesus and Cross on them ? :coffee:

How wonderful it must be not to practice what you preach to others.

So why do you post this to me again?

. . .
No I dont know why, I did not mention any specific religion... I merely said that schools need to be free of any religious influence.

So kindly tell us why you posted what you posted.

So your comment on religious symbols used in a thread on Saraswati temple had nothing to do with Hinduism ?

LOL. How convenient. Assume the same for me too then. Ok ?

Harmony among communities.

She is Goddess of knowledge, wisdom in Rig vedas

Even according to Islam.

It was narrated that Anas bin Mâlik said: The Messenger of Allah said “Seeking knowledge is a duty upon every Muslim”. ”
