Do you even know how stupid you sound?

You give me some picture and call me stupid  your arguement was even legal religious buildings have been razed please provide me a link not a picture which shows a 'legal' religious structure if u understand english being demolished then we will see whos stupid and who aint

So if a Israeli creates mayhem, it is excuse for Pakistanis to rob other Pakistanis -- Wah, such extraordinary powers of reason, such logic - but then Wahabi effected cannot be blamed, they are carriers and spreaders of contagion

This, so much this. This is a shameless and cowardly exhibit of persecution of a minority within Pakistan that are constitutionally guaranteed their right to practice their religion without let or hindrance.

It goes againist Jinnah's vision of Pakistan where one is free to practice one's religion without being persecuted.

Goes without saying - but some of those who have earned a living in Sodi have become effected by a contagion where in they not only question whether the Quaid e Azam was a good muslim or not but feel confident enough to assert that he was not - hanging is too good for such kinds.

Yeah he saying that whether the church is legal or not for economic development even religious buildings should be bulldozed!!

That was really uncalled for..... working & living in another country got nothing to do with this... i work & live in Kuwait ... i've neva questioned Jinnah's faith & i consider him to be a good muslim & human being ...

I think he was referring to the other chap JonAsad

Then it obviously doe snot apply to you, so why should you take offensive where none was intended?

What is true is that many Pakistanis who have worked or lived in Sodi are infected by the intolerant ideology of the Wahabi, as was clear from the statement that in effect Pakistanis ought to rob and vandalize each others property.

am not offended & i pretty much know it was not directed towards me..

Now why are u categorizing Muslim faith into diff groups &
What makes you think that its Wahabi ideology behind this land grabbing?
How do u know that these people are wahabis or sunnis etc?
why cant we just be simple muslims, why do we always divide ourselves in different groups... it really hurts me when i read comments made by our own muslim brothers degrading each others.. :frown:

My friend if you read the 1st post u'll know that the Pastor himself is saying that the people who are behind this act were after the land for quiet some time, dont bring in religion into it :)

As I scrolled down I was wondering if this point would be raised by someone.

The title is misleading. Why bring religions into it " Locals bulldoze church " would have been enough.

We tend to add religion / caste in everything we do. The intent obviously is not noble.

I'm not characterizing Muslim sinto different groups - I'm only saying that Wahabis do that nor did I say that Wahabis were behind this bull dozing, in fact I said that according to the lead article it was economics and not religious bigotry behind this event.

PLease do make an attempt to follow the discussions.

I don't know about Pakistan but in India...these places of worship have for long been a sore in inter-communal relations...I am for flattening all the mandirs/masjids/churches...everybody should worship in the confines of their homes in privacy...search for their inner peace and not waste money in erecting palaces and chapels in the name of god...
I like what Modi did in Gujrat...he razed many temples and mosques to make way for highways...

According to Pastor Sarwar who is minister in charge of King of Kings Church told PCP that 8 Muslims came with bulldozer and vandalized Church. The Muslims desecrated Holy Bibles, Hymn Books and other Church material and bulldozed it.

This is enough to add religion into a hate speech
