Hello PDF Awaam,

I have had enough of the Musharraf's treason case and honestly I am tired of arguing for the constitution of this country which is the basis of everything that is standing today.

Every soldier takes an oath to uphold the constitution of this country, his very official existence is based on the constitution.

Constitution is supreme and if there's no constitution, how would we govern ourselves anyway?

There are two things to see here..

DGISPR came out with a strong worder statement which said that the Army hopes that the justice will be provided based on the Constitution of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.

Justice for whom?

The person who says, "I think the Constitution is just a piece of paper to be thrown into the dustbin."

If any Pakistani, especially a soldier defends these words, he/she is denying the existence of every State institution, especially the Armed Forces.

I fear a day when another General would say the same words and throw out a democratically elected Government.

Let's be honest its a piece of trash taken from Brits and them modelled to help the privileged ones. No one on the roads gives a **** about the constitution because it wasn't made for them so their consent was neither taken nor needed.

The piece of trash was developed by the representatives of the people of Pakistan and every political party has consensus on it. The common people also didn't care if Musharraf's plane had crashed, why did he overthrew their elected Government?

Since you missed the important point, this piece of trash if the foundation on which Armed Forces stand today and every soldier takes oath on it.

I don't think Musharraf said anything wrong about constitution. Don't know why the liberals hold a piece of paper called "constitution" so sacred. A common Pakistani doesn't care about any constitution. Constitution isn't Quran and Hadith to be held sacred. 1973 constitution replaced 1962 constitution which itself replaced 1956 constitution. The so called "sacred" constitution has been amended, repealed, abrogated, suspended so many times btw.

Soldiers fight for this country. Not for some piece of paper called constitution.

Okay, sure. Then why is DG ISPR crying about following the constitution so badly?

This constitution does not provide the common Pakistanis even the drinking water since decades. No treatment to inmates and they are dying in jails unnoticed, but under same constitution the 'kangaroo courts' are providing bails to corrupts thieves to enjoy lavish trips abroad with plundered money and 'B' class to elites in jails. This is apex of discriminatory justice which this constitution could provide.
I think the words you quoted are from 'Ameer-Al-Momineen' the fore founder of Patwar group and not of Musharaf.

Since you're not a soldier, you will not understand the importance of the sacred oath they take at PMA.

Let me tell you this in simple terms. Army will keep interfering in politics because they know if there is a Martial law people on the streets will be distributing sweets. Because for people it doesn't matter who is sitting on top. They will support the one who delivers. How many people on the roads are celebrating or protesting on this verdict. No one cause they don't give a ****.

So if someone wants army to know its place they should first fucking deliver reaults. Public will then follow them.

Constitution of Pakistan is above all these dwarfs. It is supplemented by the Quran and Hadees. Mocking the constitution for the facilitators of MQM/RAW like Musharaf and his accomplices is a terrorist act itself.

It’s the basis for rule of law, it’s what Musharraf himself swore his oath on as a member of armed forces.

For once we’re actually upholding the constitution in this country. If certain individuals treat it as a piece of paper to be thrown in the dustbin, it shows a reflection of their character and their views on treason, it takes nothing away from the validity of the constitution.

It's the duty of your elected representatives to provide you that. It's like saying, why doesn't Qur'an provide me with good deeds, when in reality it's just a guidance, you have to earn the good deeds yourself. RIP Logic!

Okay, sure. Then why is DG ISPR crying about following the constitution so badly?

In other words he is telling you to retrospectively follow the constitution at the time subversion was committed (2007) not the one after 18th amendment done purposefully to hang one person.

People also distributed sweets and came on the road dancing when Musharraf resigned. How is that a benchmark?

If I am a bad owner of the house, it doesn't give any right to my watchman to enter and take over the house.

Millions of people who voted for PTI, PPP and PMLN would like to disagree with you.

Subversion of the constitution is covered in Article 6 in the original Constitution of 1973.
