Former military dictator General Pervez Musharraf and branded corrupt politician and former Pakistani President Asif Ali Zardari are backing anti government movements in Pakistan which is being continuing under the leadership of play boyish cricketer turned politician Imran Khan and radical cleric Tahir ul Qadri. Thousands of protestors are rallying in Islamabad with the goal of unseating the democratically elected government of Nawaz Sharif. It may be mentioned here that, Pakistan Muslim League came in power in May 2013 through a landslide victory in the general election defeating Pakistan People’s Party led government. But Imran Khan and some of the radical parties had rejected the result with allegation of vote rigging.
Both Imran Khan and Qadri are known as friends of Talibans and Al Qaida. They turned furious of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and his government for the recent offensives on Islamist militants in Pakistan. Both Khan and Qadri had been conspiring to unseat the Nawaz government and install an Islamist government in the country. It is also learnt that cleric Tahir ul Qadri is in favor of transforming Pakistan into a Caliphate state. A source inside an international intelligence agency told Blitz that, Qadri has contacts with the kingpins of notorious Jihadist group named IS. The same source says Imran Khan has closer ties with the Talibans.
Blitz has obtained specific information about both Khan and Qadri receiving secret funds for their anti government movements from General Pervez Musharraf and Asif Ali Zardari. According to the information, one Bakhtiar Khan, special envoy of Imran Khan received huge sum of money from the representative of General Murharraf in Hong Kong. The same representative of Imran Khan met financial agent of Pakistani former President Asif Ali Zardari in Cyprus and received the fund for the anti government movement. It is further learnt that both Musharraf and Zardari had vowed to extent ‘all possible supports’ to Imran Khan in toppling down the Nawaz Sharif government.
Political analysts are saying, if the anti government movement will continue and turn violent, Pakistan may once again go under military rule for a prolonged period.
