Musharraf is smarter than you think. He is the kinds who can turn from a hawk to a dove and from a dove to a hawk in minutes. This guy started a war with India and he also almost solved the Kashmir issue as well with MMS and under him relations between India and Pak were at an all time high. Now he comes across again as the biggest hawk against India. No one can really tell what goes on in his head.

The kind of solution Musharraf got was not the solution Pakistan wanted. We had good relations with other countries in his tenure because he gave in to their demands not taking Pakistan's interests into consideration.

If you look at the Indian Politics the general perception is that the it revolves around anti Pakistan agenda. Indian political party wants to wipe Pakistan from the face of the world owing to the fact that India never truly accepted Pakistan and it has been a thorn in their throat this whole time.
