Musharraf suffers heart problem on way to treason hearing

I doubt Ex President, Retd General Musharraff, is faking any heart attack. He was famous and well recieved around the world (even in India) for his lecture circuit. He was one of the better leaders (from the little I know), His comeback to pakistan was purely out of his patriotism and his willingness to work for his own country and deserves due respect. It is understandable if a highly decorated General would suffer heart complications when the nation for which he was willing to lay down his life is impeaching him of treason.

I hope he has a speedy healthy recovery, and takes on his court case with the same "never back down" attitude wins and re-emerges as a strong political force in pakistan!

I read in some local channels that he has suffered a severe Heart Attack.... Is it true? or just eyewash?...
Hogwash.. he did not even have a minor cardiac arrest. He probably had an anxiety attack due to facing the court of which he thought is a heart attack.

LOL,

Two decade old bollywood formula conveniently adopted by Mush.

No wonder he called the army for his support a couple of days back - they obliged by putting up and extending his heart attack drama and also suggesting he might need to be flown out of the country. That is the most obvious indicator right there - as if Pakistan does not have facilities to treat a heart attack and army doctors suggesting he should be flown out.

Saudi defense minister is also pressing on Sharif to let Mush make his escape....looks like the canary's is fleeing his nest.

looks like our Courts are far more powerful and fearsome than whatever the Indian Army could throw at Gen Musharraf in his entire service. he fought the 1965 war inside India after crossing the international border, even during Kargil war he went across the LoC visiting front line troops.. something which even the former Indian chief grudgingly praised and acknowledged
yet he is a coward hehe.. maybe we should raise an army of judges and lawyers and Indians will start trembling and commit mass suicides

Do you have evidence of your claim? or just a hunch!

@blain2 Iftikhar choodary still have bullet proof car and protocol.

Yes but more so than this "commando" issue, he is a Pakistani and that too a Pakistani Army officer who also happened to be the President of Pakistan. Respect is deserved for someone who has fought for Pakistan. One can call him foolhardy, but not a coward any which way one looks at him.

..................

Yes, and he should also face the consequences for the illegal acts he did when in power.

Voices coming from hospital and inner circle, sound like he had a heart attack.

He is 70 year old man, considering his age and the stress of being called a traitor was more than likely the cause of his medical condition.

In terms of good economic and governance of the country he did excellent. no one can argue.

I pray All Mighty Allah(swt) restores his health.. ameen

In his tenure he was BRAVE and not a coward... made mistakes but not a coward.

he made some decision that were in favour of the state.

PMLN are crying crocodile tears, cause they were forced out of the state, they lost out on time (10 years) to rape the country...so they are trying to punish him.

Since the 60/70's, he was the only leader who made Pakistan state flourish.

PMLN and PPP (current form) have done nothing for the prosperity of the State. they have only helped their personal wealth's to grow to unthinkable levels.

If tried fairly and he is open to that. The problem is fairness is nowhere to be seen. But one should not be surprised, after all TIP.
