What's new

Musharraf Ki Yaad AAyi Us Kay Janay Kay Baad

They matter because they were part of the Parliament at that time (the one which gave Gen. Musharraf's rule a stamp of approval).

IK had one seat. And I am against JI anyway, they are a bunch of illiterates who, as part of the MMA, made the NWFP a war zone with their sympathy for extremist elements.

Well the zanis will also go to hell so IK and NS will join any rashi ... lol
The CJP will also join them for getting his son appointed to the msot corrupt FIA ... is hamam may sub nangay hain.

Firstly, a lame attempt to change the topic. The point was that Musharraf signed the NRO and HE was the one in power. (read between the lines my friend.) I personally don't care who commits Zina because that is ultimately of no consequence to the state. Point is, Mush LET the corrupt politicians back in the first place so I don't see the logic behind trying to paint him as a hero. Secondly, the case against the CJ was nullified by the Supreme Court, get your facts straight. (Thirdly, your Mush aint no 'farishta' so hes probably going to go to hell as well.. but then again this isn't an Islami debate.)

This criteria is best because it throws out all closet Talibans and their supporters like IK, NS and yourself :)

Again, lame. Just because you have no proper reply, I am a 'closet taliban'. Amusing. Really. Your childishness astounds me.

Now you can sit down.

I am already sitting :S

Saad, in cast you missed out or cannot read I will post this again.

I very much feel responsible for answering this question which is rightly agitating many minds. However because of certain political sensitivities, I will have to pend the answer for the time being with a promise that I will take the nation on board at the appropriate time. The one clarification that I will make is that I committed this mistake on the strong advice of the political leadership at that time, who are now blatantly disowning connections with it. My interest was only national with absolutely no personal bias or agenda.

Question: “Through the NRO you brought corrupt politicians to power and made Zardari the President.”
NRO may have allowed Asif Zardari or corrupt politicians to contest elections but it certainly was not the cause of their coming to power. NRO is not responsible for electing the PPP as the majority party or allowing Asif Zardari to win an election. NRO is not responsible for corrupt politicians sitting in Assemblies, or being appointed as Ministers. All this happened through the votes of the people of Pakistan. NRO is not responsible for all Parliamentarians of Provincial and National Assemblies and Senate having overwhelmingly voted for Asif Zardari as President. The nation has to learn to cast their votes for the right person and the right party.

Yeah right. And your "Saint" has shown his true guilt clearly visible hiding behind the veil of "free" judiciary. His political affiliations are evidently visible.

Come up with constructive arguments instead of simple trash.

One seat or ten seats ... he supported Gen Musharraf.

If you will link NRO to rashi etc then you will get respond about zanis and else going to hell :)

Gen Musharraf calls NRO his biggest blunder ... all people make mistakes but it takes alot to accept your mistake. We are beyond that point now and we are looking to secure future of Pakistan by supporting him.

Again, lame. Just because you have no proper reply, I am a 'closet taliban'. Amusing. Really. Your childishness astounds me.

my bad, I thought supporters of IK are called closet Taliban as well.

Would 'The clueless IK and his clueless supporters' suffice?

One final bullet in my pistol for my (final) defense: Musharraf

ABU DHABI: Former President Pervez Musharraf, while brushing aside UN report as nothing new, has said that there was one final bullet left in his personal pistol, which he would definitely use for his (final) defense.

PTI sources have informed that while talking to the PTI (Insaf Group) head, Farooq Malik in Abu Dhabi, the former President reminded that even he had been a victim of suicide bombing, which was difficult to contain at certain levels. Similarly despite being provided best security, Benazir Bhutto couldn’t be saved.

The former President labeled Imran Khan as a political goof, who according to the reports of Pakistan’s famed agencies, was liable to win barely not more than one seat.

He scoffed at elements stressing a case against him, saying that these elements were actually scared of him, and should not forget that like all soldiers, he rather preferred martyrdom to giving up.

Referring to the 18th amendment, the former President said that PML-N had chiefly benefited from it, while he said that during his regime, there was a dearth of prudent, capable politicians, while he possessed all the powers.

The former President also extended an invitation to PTI head to visit London, which Farooq Malik accepted.

Completely misrepresented my argument. I said he let them back. The people voted them in. But this only became possible because Mush let them in. Wake up sleepy head, they would not have been voted in from the UK.

Yeah right. And your "Saint" has shown his true guilt clearly visible hiding behind the veil of "free" judiciary. His political affiliations are evidently visible.

Just rhetoric. Come up with FACTS.

Come up with constructive arguments instead of simple trash.

Ditto.

and why dont you come up with constructive argument and tell me where did CJ crossed his line? and also plz prove ur point of CJs political affiliation.

once you note down the facts then we will speak on this issue. ill be looking fwd to ur post.

As if the former dictator would win more than one... Political goof or what, at least Imran is in Pakistan and serving his nation in every capacity possible, what Musharraf is doing? Earning dollars and pounds on which he does not even pay tax? let alone spending them on Pakistani nation as Imran the political goof does.

He scoffed at elements stressing a case against him, saying that these elements were actually scared of him...
Of course people are scared of him and they should be; the damage he has done to the country in nine or so years is pretty scary.

...and should not forget that like all soldiers, he rather preferred martyrdom to giving up.
We have seen the 'bravery' of soldiers of his alike (Yahya, Gul Hasan, Tikka, Niazi) in 1971, martyrdom-to-giving-up my foot; is that why he is at large?

Referring to the 18th amendment, the former President said that PML-N had chiefly benefited from it, while he said that during his regime, there was a dearth of prudent, capable politicians, while he possessed all the powers.
Dearth of prudent, capable politicians? now this new because I remember during his time there was dearth of every thing, able Justices, able bureaucrats, able police officers, able media and you name it. Poor guy had to assume the responsibility of every single department.

The former President also extended an invitation to PTI head to visit London, which Farooq Malik accepted.
Poor fellow has now come to this low where he has to seek support from the breakaway fraction of PTI. While PTI itself cant win a single seat while having an anthropologist like Imran as its leader, what the hell is he expecting from a breakaway fraction under the able leadership of Mr. Farooq Malik ... by the way does someone know him? who is this Farooq Malik?

Musharaf should understand the ground realities. He came into power with the stick and uniform but now he wears the same clothes as we do. It is not possible for him to come in power period. Next time, people of Pakistan should shoot any general who comes to power with the stick. I forgot to mention the politicians.
All of them should have the same fate.

I cannot understand one thing and sometimes I laugh over it.

What CJ says is wrong but what Musharaf says is right..
I mean if we post any article here regarding CJ than people on the other side will have one word i.e. biased. I mean Musharaf's statements are considered the Kalimaat ul Akhir! (absolutely right)
^^ Can anyone tell me the reason?

SSGPA, you are a nice individual but why do you take Musharaf's statement as absolute truth. If Musharaf says that he is not involved in BB case >> you agree.
If he says Pakistan first >> you agree
etc

You are not being rational at all.
Facts are considered valid over personality.

Depends on your definition of economic boom. There is ample amount of evidence of the economic boom. Just a few clicks and you will find out. The facts are validated by global institutions like WB, IMF, UN and several other bodies.

The basic precendence is the well being of the people of Pakistan and that was catered to during Gen. Musharraf's tenure as President. From Wateen telecom, Ufone, Telenor and warid to Hum tv, express and so on. Jobs, exports and employment on unprecedented levels were being generated.

Completely misrepresented my argument. I said he let them back. The people voted them in. But this only became possible because Mush let them in. Wake up sleepy head, they would not have been voted in from the UK.

Oh really, had he not allowed those bafoons back, I'm pretty sure your argument would have been "elections were rigged and not free and fair"

The purpose was to hold free and fair elections acceptable to all.

It is up to the people to decide and elect individuals. Rightly, as Gen. Musharraf said the people must learn to vote for the right person.

Just rhetoric. Come up with FACTS.

Go through my posts. Have I not provided ample amount of factual proof? or am I missing something?

I have already answered your question here. The people of Pakistan are not as gullible as deemed by the CJP.

Next time, people of Pakistan should shoot any general who comes to power with the stick. I forgot to mention the politicians.
As I had mentioned earlier, the PML-Q (Kings party) had already won 40 seats. As per the future, no one can predict it. Judging by our traditions and history I have a feeling we will soon see who lands the popular vote in the next election. With the formation of All Pakistan Muslim League.

What CJ says is wrong but what Musharaf says is right..

Indeed, it is quite funny. While I see the other way around.

Okay!

The best slap on his face would be during elections. Let him live in lala land..
Lets see he wins or is h***** according to Article 6.

.
Here's what he meant by sham judiciary and democracy:

i- According to Transparency International, corruption in this country rose over 400% since the current government came to power. JUdiciary and lawyers are amongst top on the list of most corrupt in Pakistan.

this is wat i can see:

1. acting army and intelligence officers being questioned http://www.defence.pk/forums/nation...issing-person-s-case-takes-dramatic-turn.html

2. government official being sent to jail for his corruption charges http://www.defence.pk/forums/national-political-issues/52477-addl-dg-fia-arrested-sent-jail.html

3. http://www.defence.pk/forums/nation...elps-release-7-000-prisoners-sindh-alone.html

4. NRO verdict

5. Illegal plazas

6. sending jamsheed dasti back home on fake degree charges

7. missing persons case being pursued

now im not saying there is no corruption in judiciary but it will take time before things take the right shape.

ii- The office of incumbent CJP is in itself politcized to the extent that even NS had to admit that there are "People" (CJP in code words) involved in politics behind closed doors. Revealed in a news press conference when he publicly pledged support for judiciary to participate in constitutional matters. No where in this world would you expect judiciary to overstep or be consulted in such manner. Not even in banana republic would you find such Judicial activism. Judiciary implements law, safe guard the legal system and has no right to meddle in the affairs of other pillars of state.

first of all judiciary never said they want to be part of any discussion. if few lawyers were saying it then that doesnt make any difference. secondly nawaz pointing to 'people involved in politics behind closed doors' is by no means a reference to CJ and even if it is then wat is the proof?

iii- The new amendment does not require for any policital party to abide by a constitutional requirement to hold elections in a political party. A great win for democracy in Pakistan (I'm being sarcastic).

still better than musharraf's democracy where all u needed was a 'commando' in a suit.

Further more, have you seen the economy? FDI levels? reserves? stock exchange? IMF/World bank loans? unemployment?

oh economy? lolz. your demand lead economy has collapsed if u havent realised. today we are facing this electricity short fall bec no energy project was taken up during musharraf time. you kept the exchange rate at 60 rupee per dollar making rupee to be highly overvalued. massive amount of money was printed by the central bank to keep exchange rate unchanged. and we all know wat happened when this peg was relaxed to make the economy return to it equilibrium. he increased lending for useless items at the cost of our future consumption.

furthermore our todays state of economy has got to do less with ppp government and more with global recession, commodity price shock and poor short term policies of our previous government.

first of all who was he to allow and not allow anyone to enter or leave pakistan? secondly how are u trying to link free and fair elections with forgiving all past cases against these politicians?
