Musharraf Exposed as part of Israeli establishment!

he did not offer to ''make ties'' (diplomatic ties)....do you think he would be so suicidal to do so, without a just solution to Palestine?

so the argument already is flawed. . .

some of the arguments i am seeing in this thread are comic-book arguments

You do know the above video is from Press TV (IRAN) and quoting Rehman Malik as it's source. How ridiculous is that?

Not really, he simply said we do not need to add another adversary in our growing list or perhaps create great levels of enmity against us by meddling in other affairs deliberately. Regardless, he said relationship is dependent on Palestine's future. Being neutral is the way to go.

You could be right. Even Middle Eastern Arab countries have relations with Israel. I think maybe Pakistan should also communicate with Israel. India is a bigger threat to Pakistan than Israel is.

Arabs don't get themselves involved in the Indo-Pak rivalry, why should we get ourselves involved in the Arab-Israeli conflict, and Arabs don't care about the Kashmir freedom struggle.

Musharaf is a part of Game which started from 9.11.

This is an excerpt from a column on August 30, 2001. 11 days before 9/11. It describes the resistance that Pervez Musharraf showed to Bush administration.

General President (or vice-versa) Pervez Musharraf of Pakistan is not sleeping very well these days since the full force of the George W administration requested his direct input into a high-tech "Get Osama" operation any time soon.

Officially, Musharraf has rejected his support for this latest Hollywood ploy, and has been frantically trying to convince the Americans any brutal action against Osama or his so-called "terrorist sanctuaries" will fuel a radical Islamic backlash in Pakistan, Afghanistan and Central Asia of "burn, baby, burn" proportions. It doesn't matter that the strike would have the full approval of the United Nations and the G-8 countries - this would be an added reason for a series of Islamic counter-strikes across the industrialized world.

What would have your favourite leaders done in such a condition?

I would also like to remind you guys that what we are talking about is still in the realm of Current Affairs. Wait for the unfolding of History in front of your eyes, then, you will be fair to make the sweeping statements.

I agree :)

i have spoken in the past about ''strictly professional'' engagement with them. We extended a ''courtesy'' to them (considering no relations) when agencies tipped off Mossad about a threat to israeli targets in india in the past. It warrants ''courtesys'' from their side to us. They do also have some high-tech bomb-detection equipment i'd love to get my hands on; a few other gizmos.

but it is suffice to say that we can never have any relations with israel until the Palestine issue is solved; that has always been our policy since 1947. It is unfortunate that world powers with leverage (e.g. USA) have been more of part of the problem than the solution vis-a-vis the Palestine-israel issue.
