Musharraf expected to be aggressive during India visit

Islamabad, Mar.5 : Former Pakistan President General Pervez Musharraf, who will be visiting India later this week to participate in the India Today Conclave, is expected to be aggressive tone during his is talks, interviews and meetings.

According to The Dawn, a close associate of Musharraf said the former dictator would continue his hard line talk just like he used to when in power.

Earlier, Musharraf has said that he would 'take on the Indians in their own homeland.'

Several noted personalities from different fields such as Pranab Mukherjee, Omar Abdullah, the Dalai Lama, Dominique De Villepin, Garry Kasparov,Shah Rukh Khan and Priyanka Chopra would express their thoughts during the conclave.

This year's theme is 'Challenges of Change'.

Musharraf's tour will be the first high-profile Pakistani to visit India after the 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks.

I don't get it. Why should Mussharaf be aggressive? What will it solve? He is not even a cabinet member right. What is the use?

B.S , Musharraf will be rather neutral. He been president of a nation and he knows how to gain respect from other nation.
And these hard times demand a better diplomacy than hard line talks.

ISLAMABAD: Former President Pervaiz Musharraf said his meeting with PML-Q leader Chaudhry Shujaat was personal and no political issue came under discussion during the meeting.

Talking to media at airport before departure to India to deliver a lecture in a seminar organized by an Indian newspaper, Musharraf said he is going India to deliver a lecture on “ Challenges and Changes”. His tour is not a political one and therefore, there is no chance of meeting with political leadership.

Musharraf said he could visit ailing Indian leader Vajpaee. About Kashmir issue, former president said progresses were made for the resolution of the issue. We are engaged in a cold war with India since 1947 and if we want to resolve issues, both the countries should look forward.

Replying to question, Musharraf said attack on Sri Lankan team is regrettable. Every patriotic Pakistani wants peace and progress in the country.

Very Nice comment Indeed, Musharraf is there as a Normal Person and he has no Political Ambitions and he will just Deliver a Speech and Give a Press Conference and that's it.
