It is better to use facts to project one's view point rather than use a profane catch all which categorically indicates that one is devoid of facts or logic and is not comfortable with what has been stated and yet at the same time, would not admit one's sorry state of being, so to say!

I dont think there is reason to complain. Pakistan since the 70s has furthered it's nuclear program in order to be the first Islamic nation to possess the nuclear bomb. So even if the moniker "Islamic Bomb" arose from the western press, the original link between an Islamic nation and the bomb was made by Pakistan itself.

Also, I believe it was Zulfakir Bhutto who said "if that the Christians, Jews and Hindus have a bomb, why shouldn't the Muslims have a bomb?" (CBC documentary "Nuclear Jihad" 2006)

Lets not oversimplify the issue. The connotation for an "Islamic Bomb" has certain negative implications for Pakistan and lets not pin the blame for this on Pakistan because not a single Pakistani leader has gone on to boast of this capability as a "Islamic bomb" ever since we first acquired it in 82. Since a "zionist" or a "hindu" bomb is essentially for the security of the above two entities which happen to be countries, the term "Islamic bomb" can be taken by some to mean that Pakistan would use it around the world or would be open to giving it to anyone who happens to be a Muslim. This is the scare that the anti-Pakistani lobby thrives on.

ZABs comments should be taken in light of the western nuclear apartheid. Why should a Muslim country such a Pakistan or for that matter, Egypt, Turkey, KSA not be allowed to have this capability when every other major power has it? While one can debate about the supposed "secularity" of the Indian bomb, at least the Israeli bomb can fit the same bill as a so-called "Islamic" bomb.

Again, I am by no means arguing the logic here. But the damage has already been done. The link between Islam and the bomb was made a long time ago by Pakistan's leadership which was then nurtured by the media and possibly the popular culture within the Islamic world as a sign of strength or solidarity. Does this mean that the bomb is Islamic? Of course not... but that is how people see it, and nothing can be done.

Israel has always been very secretive about its nuclear program/ arsenal and India has never put it in the context of Hinduism as a religion. But had some conservative leader back in the 60s or 70s done so, or portrayed it as a weapon of defense against an Islamic or Christian invasion, thereby establishing a theosocial link... then yes, that bomb too would be labeled the "Hindu Bomb."

This whole argument is akin to the outrage expressed by some Indian actors on account of the acceptance of the word "Bollywood" and it's inclusion in the latest version of the Webster's dictionary. Originally a derogatory word, the term has since been taken out of context and accepted/promoted by the Indian society itself. This of course doesn't change the derogatory origins of the word, but the yolk can't be put back into the egg and so that expression is here to stay.

I think there is no relation with meaning of Pakistan with Islamic Bomb? Giving a relegious flavour to every issue made Pakistan a major dent. Please do not drag Allah in every matter as he is non omnipresence so must be having may things to do other than supporting you on every cause.

This is a perspective.
How can you exclusively associate Pakistan or Pakistanis with it?
Or do you mean every Muslim country means same and not exlusively Pakistan.

Have you consulted with any religous scholar over this issue? or is it your personal Fatwa?
Any way, I will never attack my own country or my own people.
