Musharraf apology to Bangladesh

It was only a meaningless implicit apology. The President should have directly and explicitly apologized. Before this he should have the Parliament pass a resolution to apologize. So, it can be said that there was no formal apology from Pakistan. What Musharref said was only 'Baat ki Baat'.
this was much more then you guys deserve . i think he went bold enough . for more you can wait 2090 when BD will be under water .

.
But its more then enough.
What you guys did?????
Do you regret crimes committed by your forefathers against West Pakistani, Bihari & Pro Pakistan Bangladeshi Peoples.
On one hand you guys killed people for defending their county & on other hand remain silent on atrocities committed by Mukhti Bani.
Atrocities were committed by BOTH sides. Bangladesh did these even after the war.

.
Pakistan establishment thought that they would manage to scare us away from forming our government and tame us down by killing and raping our own people. Before 71 Most Bangladeshis were treated like second class citizens. So, when that second class citizen got into power through legal means, oppressive Pak force never managed to accept that from their heart.

What did they do to make sure that we Bengalis could never voice our opinion in future again and always remain at the feet of west Pakistan? Yes, they started indiscriminately killing and raping innocent Bengali civilians. Whats hilarious is most current generation Pakistanis here shade crocodiles tear for Kashmiri separatists and call them freedom fighters but at the same time call mukti bahini as terrorists. Lol. Hypocrisy much?

Benazir Bhutto
Well put. They all shed crocodile tears on Palestine/Kashmir. Yet their own track record in Bangladesh/Balochistan is attrocious. Then noone talks about Darfur where Sudanese govt has been carry out systematic genocide, Yemen and Syria. Unfortunately, this is part of the denial and re-writing of history; casing point is Japanese shut eye to their attrocities in east Asia or even in Burma against slave labour.
Unfortunately you are wasting time bringing this up as this forum has shown that there is no middle line to facts but emotions and denials; i probably will get warning for this. All I note is please judge history and reflect on it. Those who learn from history try never to repeat it; it takes a good person to admit the wrongs.

No, it was different. The govt soldiers of PA committed the crimes. On the contrary, it was Bangali civilians that have committed similar crimes. Very few crimes were committed after 16 December, thanks to IA troops, who stopped further escalation.

Correct. We all should learn from our past mistake and apply it in our present life so that we don't have to go through the sufferings that we experienced in the past.

But sadly i don't think Pakistan have managed to learn anything from their past. Its quite evident from their current condition. Look at the way they r treating mojahirs and balochs now. They r treating them the same way they used to treat Bengalis before 71.

Of course it was Bangali civilians (I include Muhkti Bani in this category) that committed crimes, as at that time there was no official Bengali army nor Bangladesh. And crimes are crimes whether done by Soldiers or Civilians.
Pakistanis should not forget that it was not a one sided affair although it appears that way as History is written by the Victors...

do you ever read before posting or among those who do opposite???
its not Pakistan but Bangladesh who is rewriting the history.
both side committed atrocities but it was your people who continued even after independence.

your Govt. is killing people accusing them of atrocities while remain silent on atrocities committed by Mukti Bani & Company.

I will support your demand for apology if your Govt. apologize for crime committed by your peoples during and after independence.

if you are not willing to except your mistake then you don't deserve anything from us.

what you just post is nothing more then a nonsense.
deserter from Pakistan Army.
Indian Trained Mukhti Bani.
Even Indian Troops fight along with Mukhti Bani.
IA troops stop further escalation???? according too bangladesh.

according too bangladesh we raped and killed million or billion of people in short period of time.
Although we don't have enough time nor the number 60k figure because includes civilian+police+paramilitary.

Mujib was Genius he post Hitler Army figures but he forget that German army was huge and it took them 5 years.

Even before 71 Mujib decided to separate Bangladesh from Pakistan according to (ex-RAW officer).

.
I doubt the Pakistani army would do rape and murder.

We are Muslims and rape and murder are considered to be one of the most horrible crimes in Islam.

Try again. Archer Blood was a white American dude. Not some ethnocentric racist Bengali.

You're on our side now? Was the Great Epic Rape Discussion War on PDF too much?
:o:

My issue has always been with the sheer scale of BD propaganda on the issue (and fact that BD is not very open to discussing and actually analysing it w.r.t the level of time it projects it)....and the constant repeating of it (much like the phenomenon you know mention in other subforums) and use of it in the most ridiculous ways (to prop up all kind of other dubious notions) too.

Not that there was zero atrocities happening (i.e absolute propaganda scale in reverse i,e everything is complete hoax)...my buddy's dad saw a bunch go on with his own eyes....he was actual freedom fighter you see, unlike most of the BD twits posting here with their feelz.

Stuff he has told me and stuff like the blood telegram (and multi-evidence chain of say operation searchlight etc) definitely is very telling of PA actions.

this seems not working well

your grand father fu-cked our grand mothers now you guys apology for it :o:

but it seems pakistanis are not ready to apology for sins of grand fathers :D

.
I hereby apologize for my posts in this thread. They were deeply misguided and hurtful towards Muslim Bangladeshi brother of Pakistan.
