I have this to say to you...

Dont you remember what Syedi Omar Mukhtar says which is shown in the movie The Lion of the Desert when one of his boys is about to kill a prisoner and says that the enemies do the same to our prisoners... so he snubs him and tells him... Our enemies are not our teachers!!!

I refuse to discuss Musharaf's economic deception with you... Its been done to death on the forum already... Do search for it in other threads...

Isn't that what I said ? We didn't hurt the guy because we took an oath to fight according to the Hadis of Huzoor(PBUH) it is our enemies(Talibs) that fight in a way that reflects of complete disregard for all human rights. A few isolated incidents do not reflect the actions of an institution of 0.6 million men. However, the overly frequent bomb blasts and beheadings do reflect the complete disregard that Talibs have for our people. I have seen complete families being wiped out, removed the remains of my men stuffed in drums, I have met women who lost EACH AND EVERY MALE MEMBER of their family because the Talibs executed them for selling vegetables to the Frontier Corps. Wouldn't seeing all that and much more, upset you ? Wouldn't it drive you crazy ? It drives us crazy as well, most can control their desire for retribution those who can't...........well, you and I have both seen the video........

This is called having Double Standards....

As I mentioned...there is a fixed definition of Human rights....

One cannot cry foul over human rights and then move the goal post on the same when it suits their need...

The "UN disputed area" tag nor the brutality of the insurgent alllow you to change the definition...

At this moment, the Pakistanis are just as guilty as the Indians if not more wrt. Human rights violations

1) Summary executions by PA are not a fraction of that carried out by IA in kashmir.
2) Our enemy(Talibs) kill a minimum of 50 people each month besides causing millions of dollars of damage to infrastructure. They could put the Kashmiri militants to shame.

Actually Musharaf would have earned my respect if he had adopted the same approach in all matters and not just this issue with the TTP... i.e politics, economics, social system, foreign policy etc... Lets face it... he did accept western ideas/influence in everything else... except human rights...

Pres Musharraf put Pakistan first in making all decissions and that is proven by his policies. Instead of making a broad statement, kindly point out your concern with some links and numbers so that I can respond back.

Basic Human Rights are same all over the world.

Says who? Who is to force their views of human rights on Pakistan? Is America imposing their views on what human rights are onto Pakistan? forcibly spreading their ideas and ideology? Think of another nation that did the same (1930s)

What ever he is saying is right and is rightly said. i don't understand the purpose of this topic. May be you are anti Musharraf that's why you launched this topic. Don't worry I don't support him 100% because he made a biggest mistake ever and that is NRO because of this the whole of the Pakistan is suffering.

Kashmir = disputed territory. Pakistan. Not. India is the one without any rights to apply any standards on Kashmir.

First you should get it straight that disputed territory does not gives right to any one into the administration of the place.

Second, IAK alone is not the disputed territory, IAK & PAK both combined are, and as a bilateral issue, Pakistan only has the right to discuss territorial issue, not administrative issues - that is purely an internal matter.
