not defending the incident but lot worse had happened in our universities in the past my father saw a qadiyani guy die in front him from the gun shot in uet lahore and according to him institutes like uet and pu were like battle field in his days.but look at things now mate things are far better than his era. don't lose hope change is coming and it is our responsibility to prepare our friends and family to be the part of that change instead of the resistance.just keep doing your part educate your close ones.

Now certainly alot of people may feel great amount of anger if someone is abusive against Prophet mohammed, however, Musilms still have to show restraint from Killing anyone as it is against our teaching, to kill someone needlessly.

I think instead of posting comments like "RIP" and "we condemn the murder" we have to start asking how do we stop this from happening.

We know what the problems are. People thinking they'll be damned for hell if they dont take action. Molvis preaching retribution if you find a blesphmer. Police and judges, who also come from the same society, looking the other way because they dont want to be labeled non-believers and become "fuel for the fires of hell."

You may not realize it but this kind of censorship on critical thinking is the reason why Pakistan is behind in the fields of Physics, astro-physics, biology and chemistry. Because the study of these subjects makes you question the origin of the universe and vis-a-vis the big guy, God.

And if our kids are scared to think critically, if our professors are afraid to teach these subject and induce such crtical debates then is it any wonder why the muslim world is so much behind in the field of sciences?

Question is how do we make people believe that such inquisitive and curious questions arent challenging the will of god or the prophet.
