chota sa ik gaaon tha, jis mein
diay thay kum or bohut andhera

bohut shajar thay, thoray ghar thay
jinko tha doori ne ghera

itni barri tanhai thi jis mein
jaagta rehta tha dil mera

bohat qadeem firaag tha jis mein
aik muqarrar had se aage
soch na sakta tha dil mera

aisi surat mein phir dil ko
dheaan aata kisi khwab mein tera

raaz jo had se baahir main tha
apna aap dikhaata kaisay

sapney ke bhi had thi aakhir
sapna aage jaata kaisey
This nazm is mind boggling

کسی قدیم خواب کے محال میں ملا مجھے

bohat qadeem firaag tha jis mein
aik muqarrar had se aage
soch na sakta tha dil mera

Qadeem khwab Qadeem firaq

There are other examples but one can see this theem/concept repeatedly in his
poetry what do you make of it.

Yes his poetry is good.

Not very deep but good for depth you need pure poets like munir niazi Mir taqi Mir ghalib etc
Though ghalib had Wahdat al Wajood like a bee in his Bonnet.
