The fundamental problem with the society is the lawlessness. The elite of this country has always acted beyond and above any law of the land, they loot, rob, drink, rape, kill and embezzle and top of that they make fun of the poor and their religion...Why was Salman Taseer so arrogantly advocating the release of a convicted blasphemer and why was he not following the rules himself. Instead he acted above and beyond the law of the land: to uphold which he took the oath of. So how can we expect a constable or a guard to follow the rules?

Whenever men take the law into their own hands, the loser is the law. Vigilantism leads to anarchy. We can't afford that

LOL I can debate all day but I cannot beat someone's ignorance.

You made a claim that 6 million people attended Qadri's funeral ... You were asked to provide a source or any proof to back up your claim .. You failed ... Discussion ends .. Peace

Imam Ahmad acknowledged the responsibility that rested on his shoulders due to his status as a true scholar of the believers. Thus, he was uncompromising and remained patient, despite his captors warning him that he could die like this. Imam Ahmad simply replied, “al-farqu baynanaa wa baynakum al-jana’iz” (the difference between us will be manifested in our funeral prayers)” (i.e. that they should beware of what happens at their deaths and to observe his). They knew he would be resilient to uphold the truth and he was finally released after spending over two years in imprisonment. He eventually passed away at the age 77. One of his sons mentions that his father still had scars from the lashes when he passed away. Despite this, over 800,000 people attended his janazah in Baghdad to pay tribute to the noble scholar.
And for the first time I heard he was also buried in Baghdad.. The only two most popular references talks about his burial taking place either in China or Madina. There is a small but very famous tomb associated with his place of burial in China. The point is, if the same person is known to have been buried in 3 different locations, I am not sure how authentic the number of attendees would be.

There were without doubt more than a million people at Qadri funeral. Your denial won't change it and soon his shrine will see millions of visitors daily

I think this discussion will be rolling on the same topic again n again so I am going to close this thread

If you read first few pages of this thread, it is clear that the supporters of a murderer couldn't give any evidence once again that how this murder could have been justified

The Pakistani people in general are tolerant and don't mind if someone wants to build a shrine for the sake of an assassin. They have all the right to do so, there are thousands of people murdered in Pakistan each year and if they have money and want to build shrines, it is up to them and free to do for every murderer.
