It is a tragedy that followers of a particular religion see it as the be-all and end-all of their existence. They don't seem concerned about their country nor see themselves as part of a nation.

Even some Pakistani friends when asked (on another thread here) what their priorities were, said that they'll defend Islam first and Pakistan next!!

And why do Muslims want to always show themselves as being victimised? It's high time the Mullahs put their acts together and stopped brainwashing innocent Muslims for their own selfish agendas. The blame squarely lies with the Muslim clergy.

1) Contraception is haram - No .. It isn't .. Some Tslibanis issue a fatwa doesn't make it TRUE .. Even Pope says contraception is banned that means Christians don't have family planning ??

Gud to see indian muslims standing up for injustice! Gujurat massacre of muslims by hindus r justified by these rss lovers here but a protest against assam violence against muslims is unjustified. Gud to see these opressed pple wake up. Next protest shud be bigger and more violent. They need to make their point and they need a good leader.

I think the next protest should happen in Karachi or Islamabad and it should be bigger than Mumbai. Where are Pakistani muslims who want to lead muslim world they should lead by example.
