Mumbai mosques turn volume down on call to prayer after Hindu leader’s demands

I have lived near both masjid and temple. Its the early morning azan / bhajan I find the most annoying. The azan at least lasts only 3 minutes or so, bhajan goes forever. :(
only people who like are probably elderly uncles who wake up at ungoldly hours and want young people to start the day early.

About azan, if you dont live near masjid or live in western countries you cant hear them. How do such muslims know when to pray.
With modern technology(smart phone apps) you dont really need to play it on loud speaker.

In india though, its a competition. muslims can have loudspeakers why cant we hindus do?
I think we should oppose all of them instead of allowing all of them.

Well, there are some fanatic females who definitely need gulag treatment but many are either forced to live under the oppression and suffocation creation by those fanatics females ( and males ) or are under temporary influence which can be cured so except for the fanatics the other two categories can live on in a changed situation.
I've run into and seen Indian women who were quite fanatic and radical, they do exist and much more then you think. Of course their attitude changes the moment they meet Pakistani/Muslim men (personal experience) or non Hindu/Indian ones and same goes for those pious Muslim women the moment they get out and meet non Muslim men in more open and tolerant societies but that's how females are like. They got to learn to stay loyal, empowerment for females is critical in such intolerant societies so they don't feel weighed down and oppressed by such men in radicalized societies.
You've never been with one, what would you know about "females" anyway ?
Speak for yourself

Agreed.

Don't you know @Sharma Ji is a retired playboy having played the field for 20 years and hence knows the ins and outs of not only females but also he can just sniff out an inexperienced and avoided-by-females male who is a few internet packets away ? BTW Sharma, when are you bringing the photo girl to PDF, and 40 others in your list ?

Communist Muslim is an oxymoron.

Muslims have been Communists before your grandfather was born. :) But I will ask you why you feel that way. I will also ask you what do you know about the famous landmark called Lal Chowk in Srinagar, India-administered Kashmir.

our al bakisztaniz are saddened by unjust. Ruling / action by yindows of india “ action although is to do with noise reduction “ else they seem free to perform religious rituals

Makes me wonder what would happen if the tiny fraction of non muslims left in pakistan dare ring the bells of temples or churches over high volume speakers over their neighbourhood

Hindus using loopholes and tricks to oppress people of Islamic faith. It’s funny though, because if hindus studied history they’d know that whenever there was supression of Islam, it only resulted in an increase of Islam spreading.

Both Sri Lanka and Pakistan have also experimented with non democratic traditions and survived. India won't, wouldn't.
Lets say that its national hobby of Pakistan to predict end of India. Sadly, Pakistan broke into two. Saw multiple coups, fairly bad kind of terrorism and now practically American coup. To be honest, Pakistan never had democracy as elected government never serves is full term. Its often kicked out by thieves and in some cases army.

Meanwhile India keeps on chugging along. From socialists to hard line hindu nationalists it keeps on going strong. No Army take over seen here. We have a democracy. A strong one. That being said, not everyone is represented in the power.

Good decision and it should go further. Loudspeakers need not exist in mosques or in Hindu temples or any religious structure. Loudspeakers do not exist in the Quran and they are unnecessary. I believe the great Jamal Abdul Nasser also wanted to ban them. Additionally this is the age of the mobile phone and nicely there is one app for the prayer-minded which I don't see why it can't be used :

I am more concerned about these actual problems in Indian society :

man...

you are full of crap

So you agree Pakistan has better survival tactic than India?

1. India too is not a democracy. Please read this post of mine on what is not a democracy ( India, USA, Britain, Pakistan etc ), what is, the origin or Democracy and which country in the modern world was a true democracy. You are right about India, not everyone is represented in the power, in the governance of the country. It is just the parties and their henchmen. You and I may have a brilliant idea about how to bring about a certain change in India but our ideas will not be allowed to go up to the top leadership - the PM. And the PM, however crooked, however anti-democratic, however unconcerned about the daily artificial tragedies ( for example the unnecessary deaths of 700 protesting farmers during the Delhi farmers protest of 2021 ), is the superboss in India.

2. In quite a few countries progressive systems have come through coups. Pakistan almost had such a one in 1951, just four years after the formation of the country. The leftist poet Faiz Ahmed Faiz and his Communist comrades in the military and civilian society tried to take over the governance but were unfortunately thwarted. This event became known to the anti-coup people as the Rawalpindi Conspiracy. It is unfortunate that such a thing did not happen in India and India has continued to have a ridiculous, irrational, anti-human, anti-democracy and unscientific political and socio-economic system since its independence - for 75 years. Brilliances can be momentary but stupidities can endure for long. :) And again in Pakistan in the 1980s the then Indian PM Rajiv Gandhi feared that the NATO-proxy Zia ul Haq government would be overthrown by Pakistani leftists like almost in 1951 and so RG was ready to support Zia ul Haq to get back into power because RG feared that a Socialist / Communist governance system in Pakistan would further USSR's influence in South Asia and most possibly induce the Indian Communists to do a mass swelling and agitate to get into governance.

man...

you are full of crap

Why ?

Your survival tactics broke you into two, A third one on the rise. India has only prospered with its poor survival tactics.
