In October, 2004, India PM Manmohan Singh, as a leader of a great nation, gave a grand speech that was truly heroic and was resonating around the whole world, East and West:

"When we talk of a resurgent Asia, people think of the great changes that have come about in Shanghai. I share this aspiration with the chief minister and senior Congress leaders to transform Mumbai in the next five years in such a manner that people would forget about Shanghai and Mumbai will become a talking point."

you guys please dont talk down mumbai unless you think what you saying is more credible than the incredible PM of india

Admiring some one's Rosy cheeks is a human instinct, but smacking themselves just to have a red face is distinctive to the Indians.
Whatever the position of certain cities on the table may be, it's however apparent that the mentality of certain Indian members is certainly fluctuating, since it's neither my claim or some Pakistani source, neither is this a comparative thread that you find comfort by dragging Pakistan into it,... but then obsession knows no limits.

Since on a Pakistani forum, the likes of you have adopted the duty to post everything Pakistan, it's only fair to pay back in the same coin......hence the reflection proves gruesome for some to comprehend.

Mumbai and all other indian cities are going through many good changes since last few years and it will continue to change over next few years....with metro and monorail,one of the best airport in the world being built,government spending huge on infrastructure and etc i see a great future for mumbai...

I often wonder why I live in Mumbai.

The city is dirty, smelly, congested. We have a bureaucracy that hinders the simplest of tasks, such as getting a PAN card, but makes others that should be challenging, like getting a pilot’s license, dangerously easy. If you have kids, then you probably worry about their exposure to disease, getting them into school, and their future prospects in a city, which though touted as a modern megalopolis, barely survives from one monsoon to the next without needing serious refurbishment.

All these factors explain why, when it comes to livability indexes, Mumbai sits near the bottom (often our sole consolation is that cities in Pakistan are worse off than us.)( Obsession Pakistan)

Actually, in the Forbes Index for dirtyness in cities, Pakistan's cities fare much better than Indian cities do.

In fact, there is not one single Pakistani city in the entire list.

Mumbai and New Delhi don't do very well on this index though.

i doubt that ,ISI cant be involved, they don't have enough money to pay Forbes .... they didn't even have enough money to pay FAI for Kashmir cause ...
unless Forbes is owned by ISI ...
