Multiverse & Parallel World

Often we have seen the above mentioned titles as topic of Religion and Movies but its catching the eyes of Science . I have some theories and doubts , Feel free to criticize and correct them .

If Universe is a closed system , then Multiverse are shells of individual universe , But where do these shells exist ? To travel in such universe we require portals which connect one universe with other .

If Universe is open system then , Is the idea of separate layers of Universe flawed ? As they are connected and make a Whole .

Can another me exist in another world ? If yes is it Parallel word or Multiverse ? Like in our World , WW3 hasn't happened but in another world it has taken place and 99% Humanity is wiped out .

But suppose that person decides to change the fate of world , hits the time travel button and goes in to the past . Is the past a new world , Parallel world and a part of multiverse a.k.a different plane of existence .

Once the things change and World war 3 is stopped from happening , that world will usher in prosperity in future . The future of that world is changed but will it have any effect on the one from which I came ? Also we have forgotten the different world where world war 3 never happened .

Let me simplify .

Earth A and B are 2 planets in different planes of existence . Both Planets went through similar events .

Earth A never witnessed WW3 and died due to meteorite collision .
Earth B witnessed WW3 and also died due to meteorite collision .

Some one on Planet B goes into past and stops the event from happening .
Now 2 time lines are created , 1 where WW3 happened and 2 where it was stopped from happening .
By changing the past it effected that timeline but will it have any effect on the time period from which that person came ?

In case the time machine created by some one and then he comes to past break that Time Machine which he build...this thing negate the opportunity to go in past

Good point but what if there were other people who attempted to build time machine and the guy who came from future wasn't aware of this ?

I have heard that point in the comment section somewhere that if time machines and time travel concept is real , then time travelers from future must be poping every now and then but what if the making of time machine is so complicated that its next to impossible for most and what if the time travel works only one way or what if time travel is so uncertain that the traveler ends up in dinosaur era instead of his real destination .

Time travel = I traveled to Earth 200 years in the future but I am still 23 .

Not sure but 2 cases of time travel in natural world are :

01 Travelling with speed of Light but not possible for entity having mass .
02 Spending 5 sec near the event horizon ( Black hole ) or whatever its called and then returning to Earth to see the magic

I don't think you could go back to the past.I mean what if I am to travel back, say 10 minutes before and shoot my former self in the head, then logically, the 10 minute's later version of me shouldn't even exist anymore!!Then which would mean that I would have no way to go back in time to kill my former self because in that continuity, my later self doesn't exist anymore!!Food for thought, ehh??

Not the singularity (are you fucking crazy!!) but orbiting around the event horizon of the said black hole.But it has to be a super massive one, the smaller ones are much more 'violent', in that the Black holes show similar characteristics to scorpions - bigger ones are less venomous than the smaller varieties!!

Yup , that is what I want to understand .

I went to past or to be precise like shown in that episode . I open a portal and Kill my 10 min old self from past . By doing that have I opened a new time line or not ?

01 I will not exist in that time line as I have been killed by Myself . So I ( The one who used the gun ) will also disappear .
02 But I will still be existing in the world from where I shot my self .
03 A time loop will be created which will repeat the same events for eternity .

I read somewhere that there is nothing like perfect vacuum and even the vacuum or space tends to develop/create/cause mass to exist and from this the concept of Dark matter and Dark energy came .

Here I am coining a new term, "Infiniteverse", you go back to the past and shoot yourself, you create another branch with a different future!

In theory, it should not since according to quantum mechanics, time can not exist without matter.But then again, there is no perfect vacuum, so........

It's the same world, otherwise you wouldn't be able to shoot your 10 minutes former shelf in the first place!!Therefore, it would be unlikely scenario again.

You mean like in Terminator, well, that could be a possiblity, I would need to look into this subject more in depth it seems.

general theory is that time can move faster, slower, but never backwards.

parallel and/or multiverse universes have the likely possibility of infinite universes, which is just too damn mind-boggling. it follows that there are infinite versions of you, which if true, there are infinite versions of the exact copy of you doing the exact thing you are doing right now infinite number of times. It also means you don't or never existed an infinite number of times.

Good question . I want to know the answer too .

My answer .

He was watching the reflection of Dinosaurs but in real world on Earth Humans were living , so when he somehow managed to land on earth in 10 min ( Whose clock are we talking about ? Earth's clock or Clock of Alien Planet or Universal Clock ) Suppose its Earths clock , Then he will be on the planet that neither has Dinosaurs nor humans . He will be into the future that is ( 10 min x speed of light ) or ( 10 min x the speed which helped him to reach Earth in such short time , though none travels faster than light ) years in the future from Real Earth where Humans were living in real time .

Light helps us to see things . Light is made up of photons and the the spectrum that consists of Visble light , gama rays , infrared rays etc . What is the possibility of distortion over such a huge distance ?

But it sounds weird when you hear the stars you see were like this million years ago . Now in real time they might have blown up into supernovas .

But what if portals or worm holes help travel from Earth to planet 12 billion light years away . Won't we be travelling faster than light ? @Omega007 @Nilgiri

I am now a firm believer of Multiverse. Suppose by some how we get transported to some 100billion light years away from earth. We shall see a tiny glowing dot which will be known to us as our universe. But sitting there suppose we find out that there are also innumerable tiny glowing dots all around us. They are the other universes. Space is infinite and there is no vaccum.
