Dude, But what makes you think your kid won't use it for ofensive purposes in School.
In US ragging is very common in Schools, you know what will happen once every kid starts to bring Gun for defensive purposes ???? You're literally signing a death warrant for your kid

Because I would not trust the other side would think as rationally as you proposed. So, if one cannot be equal in peace, one needs to be equal in war.

Lots of kids died in the US not because they were all armed, but because only few had been armed and they misused their advantage by shooting at people from classroom to classroom.

FLORIDA: Several people have been killed in a mass shooting at a video game tournament in the northern Florida city of Jacksonville, local media, citing police source, reported on Sunday. While one suspect was reportedly dead.

"Multiple fatalities at the scene, many transported," the Jacksonville Sheriff´s Office tweeted, adding that it was unclear whether there was a second possible gunman.

Meanwhile, The Miami Herald newspaper said the shooting happened at a video game tournament and counted four dead and 11 wounded.

In subsequent tweets, police said they were still searching The Landing entertainment and shopping complex, where the Madden 19 tournament was being held at the GLHF Game Bar.

Police urged people hiding in locked areas of the complex to stay in place and call 911.

This gun terrors have killed more people then any extremist attack in last 15 years yet nobody bother about gun and controlling gun sell. Just imagine if the attacker were Muslim whole western world break down with condemning Muslim and Islam.

...and people wonder what’s up with all the black-on-black shooting violence. You just summed it up right there.

Gee I wonder why “white-flight” from the cities came about.

The solution is more weapons in the hands of good people.

Heavily arm schools, kindergartens, hospitals, gas stations, concert halls and shopping malls.

A better solution is to send your kids to a school system where kids actually like going to school versus it being just treated as mandated daycare. No shooting or violence in those schools. But a few miles away in the schools with the morons who don’t want to be there you are going to have trouble.

In Boston there is a free public school where graduates go to Harvard. Not far away is a another free public school where kids don’t graduate and end up in jail or worse. Difference is one has kids who want to be there and the other has kids who don’t.
