Multi layered missiles defence shield for New Delhi, zero for Islamabad

This shows clear breach in Pakistan defense & the need to defend against Indians incoming missiles all over Pakistans cities. What is Pakistans army doing in this case?? Are they just sitting on counter measurements and nothing to protect from Indian incoming missiles? There has to be some alternative for defense of Pakistans cities, what about Beijing, surely there must be counter measurements in place like similiar to s-400 to protect Chinese cities, we can get help from there?

Only Barak-8, Akash and other existing previous gen air-defence systems have been deployed. The AAD/PAD has been in testing but isn't actively deployed. S-400 has been signed and we'll receive em in 2020 while NASAMS is highly debatable as of now

Regarding Islamabad, apart from existing air-defence systems I think HQ-16/HQ-9 has been deployed

These are defensive measures, not offensive. There is nothing wrong in employing defensive measures for a country's protection of govt establishment and it's citizens

Me personally, I'm all in for peace. Given both countries being nuke capable and neither of us would back off without going for a full-scale war which will obviously turn nuclear, we should make the current LoC as the new IB and call it a day which is the only possible solution in current terms

Currently Pakistan has more air defence than India. Like Pakistan has active tested air defence deployed throughout the country and India is still trying to aquire the technology or in development stage.

I would say this thread is totally reverse the reality.

Missile defense systems are really expensive. In our current economic situation we cannot buy any top class ones. Its better we opt for chinese long range air defense systems. We should also focus more on indigenous designs, be it copied from chinese.
We cannot out money india, we better be smarter. Should focus more on detection mechanisms and sensor networks.

if you are looking for good cheap Air defense systems then you should look to Iranian systems first as they can give you all layer air defense, after 2020.

Brother dont trust what iranians boast. At most they have mid level russian tech in small numbers. Mostly they have soviet era stuff.
Pakistan military is way advanced that iran, we would currently have better tech than them.

I stand by my words. No offense though. Rebranding and repainting and one from here one from there, copy this, copy that. This just creates redundancy and they all cannot be deployed at one location.
