Multan Airport is The Best Airport in Pakistan

Wasy i was conducting a survey here, checking rating and thank hitting trends. You are one of the most miser guy i woyld say when it comes to appreciating other fellow members, very rare that you hit that like button

ISLAMABAD IS MOST DEFINATELY THE WORST. I can say this with confidence even thought i havent seen Peshawar or Quetta airport

Should upgrade Khi and Lhr airports as well. Khi airport has an advantage here that the old terminal will be vacated by CAA once its HQ is shifted to Isb, that old terminal can be torn down and a larger and modern terminal can be built, then upgrade the current Jinnah Terminal, once the old(or the new) terminal is operational

Have you seen Islamabad Airport?

Ever been to Peshawar my friend. Metro station acha hai uss se.

We do need better airports. Islamabad airport is a like train platform no doubt. They did try to uplift the looks by some renovation but whenever a foreigner lands in your country the first thing he/she notices is your airport and Islamabad airports needs lots and lots of improvements. I hope the new airport will be truly world class....when its operational.

Nice airport! Pakistan has better airports than US, many of which are substandard and horrible. Of course, building any kind of significant infrastructure is a hassle in the US, no wants to pay for it and they don't want it built near them.

I don't know about Karachi but new Peshawar and Lahore airport are planned. When was current Karachi airport build or renovated?

Islamabad new airport is being made with new modern facilities and has given sufficient space. it has not started yet... but expected in near future flights may be started. The old airport of Islamabad has neither bigger space nor there are any remarkable facilities to the commuter. Even it is located at congested area and leave not good impression on foreign visitors... Hope new airport will be started soon and adequate facilities would be provided to travelers...

Multan airport has made on modern techniques... it is good to see a wonderful airport at the place where people think they are always kept deprived from such modern amenities....

There are some reports that Lahore is set for an upgrade and massive expansion.

The plan is to retain the existing structure (the block you can see in the middle of the terminal) while the white roof wings on both side of that central block are to be constructed during that planned expansion. This will convert Lahore airport into a modern facility as well.

Lets see.

Yes we know that the new airport is planned as a modern new facility. The comparison or argument was with the operational airport in Islamabad which I think is the worst of all of our major airports. The new Islamabad airport will be a HUGE improvement and will become the most modern facility.

Looks average airport to me... but I am glad about the people of Multan getting better airport cater needs of growing demand
