Pakistan reportedly confirmed death of Mullah Mohammad Omar - Khaama Press (KP) | Afghan News Agency

The Taliban Supreme Leader Mullah Mohammad Omar’s death has reportedly been confirmed by authorities in Pakistan who have shared the issue with the Afghan government officials.
The issue was reportedly discussed during the cabinet meeting following the confirmation by Pakistani authorities, it has been reported.

The Pakistani authorities have said Mullah Mohammad Omar has passed away two years ago but no further details were given regarding circumstances surrounding his death.

This comes as a splinter group of the Taliban – Afghanistan Islamic Movement Fidai Mahaz earlier said Mullah Omar was killed by Taliban leaders Mullah Akhtar Muhammad Mansoor and Gull Agha.

The group’s spokesman Qari Hamza said Mullah Omar was killed two years ago in the same month of July.

Hamza claimed that the group has evidences to prove their claims that Mullah Omar was killed by Mullah Akhtar Muhammad Mansoor and Gull Agha.

This comes as the Afghan Intelligence – National Directorate of Security (NDS) said in November last year that Mullah Omar has possibly passed away amid reports that the group has divided into three different parts.

:crazy::crazy:

How about joining Taliban and dying for their holy cause? They would greatly welcome you and proudly put a suicide belt around your waist to fight 'occupation'.

He reportedly died two years ago. And came back alive last month to bless the ongoing Afghan Govt-Taliban talks with his approval. :)

Supreme leader of the Afghan Taliban Mullah Omar died over two years ago from Tuberculosis, a former Afghan Taliban minister and member of the central leadership council revealed to The Express Tribune on Wednesday.

“Mullah Omar died two years and four months ago owing to Tuberculosis. He has been buried on Afghan side of the border,” the former minister said on the condition of anonymity.

Further, he added, “Mullah Omar’s son had identified the body of his father.”

The disclosure came as reports of the Afghan Taliban chief’s death sprung up yet again when the Afghan Taliban summoned a meeting on Wednesday to elect a new chief after some leaders of the militant group confirmed Mullah Omar’s death.

The former minister also disclosed that he was invited to attend the meeting.

Afghan Taliban leaders are said to have been involved in consultations to appoint a new leader.

Meanwhile, some Afghan government officials told the media in Kabul that the Pakistani government has also conveyed to them that Mullah Omar has died.

US want a reconciliation between Taliban and Afghan Government using Mullah umar. US is not interested in killing him. No other person can kill him. It is not likely that either US or Pakistan would have killed him.

Looks like he died two years ago. News was suppressed by the Invisible Support Industries.. :)

The leader of the Afghan Taliban, Mullah Omar, has died, a report on the BBC website quoted unnamed Afghan government sources as saying on Wednesday.

The report said that the reclusive one-eyed leader of the militant organisation had died two to three years ago. However, this information could not be independently verified. The Afghan Taliban have also declined to comment and said that a statement in this regard would be issued shortly.

An Afghan government official said that an emergency press conference had been called on the subject of Taliban leader Mullah Omar, amid rumours of his death. The official, who declined to be named because he was not authorised to give statements to the press, did not provide further details.
