First religious riots in Pakistan happened in 1953 BEFORE the formation of constitution. It was led by Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan leader Abul Ala Maududi, who was sentenced to death by Martial Law courts for his leading role in the agitation. So what happened? Was the sentence carried out? Of course not. That religious terrorist was pardoned by the state after secret deals with the military that eventually led to this cancer of Mullahs exploding in Pakistan as we see it today. Had he been hanged then, Pakistan would have been far more secular and less extreme today:You ask for too much, at the most one of the two can be repealed and even that would be tough on any political party not just PMLN to pull off.
