Mullah Fazlullah reaches North Waziristan

We stand by the government of Pakistan and fully support their efforts in countering insurgency. We share a common stance against terrorism, and we are making common sacrifices on both sides of the border in fighting terrorism. Those who pose a threat to our peace objectives in the region will be dealt with accordingly. We have come too far and made too many sacrifices to let these terrorists succeed with their dangerous agenda. Our officials continue to meet to address our shared concerns and objectives. We certainly hope to remain unified in regards to the betterment of the region. The terrorists also see our nations as a common threat to their evil mission. Therefore, it only makes sense for us to work together for the safety of the region.

I am frustrated as well why does the media get to report such things when our Army and intelligence angencies don't have a clue?? And Fazlullah was in Afghanistan why didn't the US drones targetted him there?? Afghanistan is a breeding ground for terrorists where they don't have to fear any drone strikes as well.

. .
I am seeing height of confusion.
At one side our fellow Pakistanis are resisting against drone policy, and on other side, the very same Pakistanis are asking for drone?:what:
Our fellow Pakistanis have weak memory as well.Have we forgotten of past scenario of Fazullah? Have we forgotten that why Pakistan army has carried operations against him?and why the hell he was released? and exactly what are the consequences which we are facing today?
-First of all,do not ask US for drone strike, because like this you are giving them justification to prove their action as well as a chance to take benefit of such situation,as a result of which, if they will target any other region against your interest, then you will be in 'no' position to 'protest',because if you do,then you are making a mockery of yourself in the sight of world, and you will loose pressure and support-
-Second,proper decisive operation must be carried out against Fazalullah for once and for all.

Islamists terrorists and Arabs can easily evade FC, intel.

Islam gives them space in every other home.

You gotta understand the core issue here.

New Pakistani Taliban chief comes home to lead insurgency

BY SAUD MEHSUD
DERA ISMAIL KHAN, Pakistan |
December 3, 2013

The elusive new chief of the Pakistani Taliban, Mullah Fazlullah, has returned to his homeland from a secret mountain hideout in neighboring Afghanistan to lead the insurgency, militant and intelligence sources said on Tuesday.

Fazlullah, known for his hardline Islamist beliefs and rejection of peace talks with the Pakistani government, was named the leader after Hakimullah Mehsud, his predecessor, was killed in a U.S. drone strike on November 1.

Hakimullah's death set off a power struggle within the already deeply fractured insurgency, with Fazlullah's extended absence fuelling infighting among the Taliban.

On Monday, two Pakistani intelligence sources said Fazlullah had crossed the mountains into Pakistan a day earlier.

"We have information that ... Fazlullah has entered the Pakistani tribal area along with 15 or 20 guards," said one source. Taliban sources confirmed he had reached tribal areas.

Fazlullah would be keen to end squabbling among the Taliban leadership and streamline what is essentially a chaotic organization with weak central command.

Another Pakistani intelligence source said that his escort included three high-profile Taliban commanders, Azam Waziristan, Mufti Abdul Rashid and Muftah Udin.

Nicknamed "Radio Mullah" for his fiery broadcasts in Pakistan's Swat valley, Fazlullah is best known for ordering the assassination of teenage female education activist Malala Yousafzai.

Malala survived the shooting and now lives in Britain.

The Pakistani Taliban are fighting to topple the government and impose Islamist rule in the nuclear-armed nation.

Under Hakimullah, the insurgency appeared open to the idea of peace talks. Fazlullah ruled out any negotiations from the day of his appointment and promised a new campaign of shootings and bombings.

Born in 1976, Fazlullah gained prominence in 2004 when he set up an underground FM radio station in Swat to promote fundamentalist and anti-Western ideas.

He and his fighters took over the valley in 2009 and imposed strict Islamic rule. Fazlullah opposes polio vaccinations, which he has described as a Jewish and Christian conspiracy to harm Muslims, and ordered the closure of girls' schools.

He fled to Afghanistan when the Pakistani army took over the valley in an offensive in 2009.

This might derail the thread but if Altaf Hussain wants to do politics in Pakistan, he too must get inspiration from Mullah Fazlullah and return home too leaving behind his British citizenship.

After all, no one has his life more in danger & is more hated than this Mullah in Pakistan.

No.
The victims 'will not' support drones while those who are not victims 'will support' drones.

Yes, IK must welcome him, and what about our army or intelligence? If entire media knows about his arrival, then why our army or intelligence doesn't? Are they sleeping or trying to act sleepy?? What's your take on this Genius?

1- Army is always ready to defend the motherland but some people are spreading confusion by calling TTP friend
2- who do u think leaked the news and now TTP is covering up because they are afraid of Drones because they know their friends didn't let Army to clean this mess

It is soo sad that even the news of this Mullah Faggot pooping would probably get on the news yet no one from the worlds supposedly best intelligence agency ISI can get him and assassinate him once and for all. I feel so bad for the poor Pakistanis that are going to be slaughtered by this good for nothing dog of hell in the next few months. May Allah save the suffering Pakistanis!

ISI is too heavily involved in political assassinations, rigging elections to do any actual intelligence work on actual threats to Pakistan.

He seems to be the weakest leader. Taliban (TTP) is now almost finished after Hakimulla getting killed. No TTP leader will dare knowing the consequences. They are now silent like cat.

How sad is it that not a single TTP leader was killed by Pakistani forces. All of them were killed by American drones.

Personally I thought that a person from the Mehsud tribe would be the new leader of these evil twisted Talibani monkeys. Furthermore there were reports emanating that suggested Umar Khalid was the new commander of these Talibanis. Now its Fazlullah the hardliner.

Fazlullah is a true fanatic. Stopping him is a necessity. The Taliban chose the baddest of the baddest to lead them. It shows that they have no will to move forward on peace talks. I am willing to give Imran Khans solution a chance but I do not think peace with the Taliban will work.
