Muhammed Morsi

He was born on August 8, 1951 and died in prison on June 17, 2019. Morsi was an Egyptian politician and the fifth president of the Arab Republic of Egypt. He was also the leader of the Freedom and Justice Party, a party founded by the Muslim Brotherhood. Morsi was the party's candidate in the 2012 presidential election and previously represented parliament from 2000 to 2005.

Mohammad Morsi was fired by the Egyptian army on July 12, 2013, after several days of unrest and the crisis in Egypt. On June 17, 2019, Morsi died of anesthesia in court, and according to the theory of the Egyptian court and forensic pathologist, Mohammad Morsi did not show any signs of injury at the time of his death.

Education
Morsi received his bachelor's and master's degrees in metallurgical engineering from the University of Cairo (1978) and his doctorate and master's degree in spacecraft engine protection from the University of Southern California, where he also taught after graduation. From 1982 to 1985, he was an assistant professor at California State University. This year he became a professor at the University of Zaqaziq in Egypt. Two of his five children were born in California and are American citizens.

Presidency
In the second round of the Egyptian presidential election, which took place on June 17, 2012, Mohammad Morsi won the election, according to official statistics, in competition with General Ahmed Shafiq. He was Egypt's first post-revolutionary president since 2011 and the country's fifth president. One of the challenges facing Muhammed Morsi during his presidency was disagreements with top Egyptian military commanders over their involvement in politics of Egypt. In his speech, Muhammed Morsi always emphasized that the Egyptian army should only be used to defend the land of Egypt.

Morsi from Israeli Point of View
Haaretz says Muhammed Morsi's presidency was one of the best in Israel's history. Israel thought that with the arrival of Muhammed Morsi, a member of the Muslim Brotherhood, relations between the two countries would be strained, but during President Muhammed Morsi's presidency, the two became closer than ever. During this period, Israel was able to gain concessions from Egypt that could not be obtained during the reign of Hosni Mubarak. Israel has been harmed for four reasons by the fall of Mohamed Morsi's government and is unhappy with the removal:
1) Mohamed Morsi has declared his full commitment to the Camp David Accords from the outset.
2) Due to the proximity and influence of the Egyptian Muslim Brotherhood on the Hamas military group, during the Muhammed Morsi government, Palestinian militants stopped launching missile strikes on Israeli-occupied areas.
3) Within a year, Muhammed Morsi was able to destroy underground weapons smuggling tunnels into the Gaza Strip dug into the Sinai Peninsula, halting the shipment of weapons into Palestine.
4) Anti Resistance-Axis remarks by Muhammed Morsi had led to an increase in religious differences between Shiites and Sunnis in the region.
On the other hand, contrary to previous promises by the Muslim Brotherhood that relations with Hamas and the people of the Gaza Strip will be closer, as it is expected that the Rafah crossing will be fully opened during President Muhammed Morsi's presidency and aid will flow to the Gaza Strip, none of those promises became a reality and the economical hardships of people of the Gaza strip did not change much, which caused dissatisfaction among the supporters of Gaza Strip in Egypt.

Morsi's presence in Tehran
Muhammed Morsi arrived in Tehran on September 30, 2012 to address the 16th Summit of the Non-Aligned Movement. He handed over the chairmanship of the Non-Aligned Movement to Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, the President of Iran.

Revocation of the dissolution of the parliament
On July 8, 2012, Muhammed Morsi canceled the dissolution of parliament and called for meetings. Earlier, the Supreme Military Council dissolved the Egyptian parliament.

Overthrow
A few days before the first anniversary of Muhammed Morsi's inauguration, a new wave of protests against Morsi, called the Tamarrud (Rebel) Movement, was formed on behalf of Muhammed al-Baradei. Protesters accused Muhammed Morsi of trying to expand his authority and that of the Muslim Brotherhood, and called on Morsi to step down and hold early elections. Morsi also said that he was elected by the people and would not step aside. A few days after the protests erupted, seven Morsi ministers and Egyptian Prime Minister Hisham Qandil resigned. In such a situation, the Egyptian army had given a 48-hour deadline on July 1, 2013 to resolve the dispute, otherwise it would intervene. In response, Morsi and senior members of the Egyptian Muslim Brotherhood called the military's involvement in politics a wrong move. The Egyptian army also announced on the evening of July 3, 2013 that it would issue a statement two days after the end of the strike.

Muhammed Morsi was ousted on July 3, 2013, during a coup d'état by Egyptian Army Commander Abdul Fattah al-Sisi and backed by representatives of the opposition to the government of Muhammed al-Baradi, Sheikh of al-Azhar, Sheikh Ahmad al-Tabib, and the pope of Coptic Christians in Egypt.

In the same statement, Adli Mansour, the head of Egypt's Constitutional Court, was appointed interim president of the transitional government. Muhammed Badi', the head of Egypt's Muslim Brotherhood, was arrested hours later, but was released the next day. Also, 300 Brotherhood leaders were prosecuted and Muhammed Morsi was arrested in the Presidential Guard.

Trial
On July 29, 2013, EU foreign policy chief Catherine Ashton met with Muhammed Morsi. Catherine Ashton was the first foreign minister to meet with Morsi collaborated with the military since the overthrow of Mohamed Morsi's government. The two-hour meeting took place at the residence place of Mr. Muhammed Morsi. "Muhammed Morsi has access to television and newspapers," Catherine Ashton said after the meeting. She also met with a number of Egyptian interim government officials on July 28, including Adli Mansour, President of the Republic, Muhammed Al-Baradei, Deputy Prime Minister for International Affairs, General Abdul Fattah al-Sisi, Army Commander and leaders of the Freedom and Justice Party, the Muslim Brotherhood's political branch.

On April 21, 2015, a Cairo criminal court sentenced Muhammed Morsi to 20 years in prison for inciting violence between security forces and protesters that killed three people. Amnesty International reacted strongly after the ruling. Amnesty International said in a statement that Egypt's "justice system" seems incapable of administering justice to members or supporters of the former Egyptian president and members of the Muslim Brotherhood. Muhammed Morsi must be tried or released fairly in a civil court in accordance with international standards.

Presence in court in the guise of execution
On Sunday, June 20, 2015, the Cairo Criminal Court convened a trial for the retrial of Morsi and a number of Muslim Brotherhood leaders in a spy case for Qatar, and Morsi appeared in a "red uniform" that is a death knell. In Egypt, prisoners sentenced to death must wear red.

Death
On June 17, 2019, after appearing in court, Morsi spoke to the judge for about 20 minutes and told the judge that he knew secrets that would cause his release if he disclosed them, but would not do so in order to protect the country's interests. After the matter was raised, he died while in a glass case. He died after being taken to hospital.

Wonderful fate for someone that trusted west and Israel.
Morsi died when he wanted to reveal some truth. No one knows what he wanted to say. I'm aware he was starved to death in prison, the hard condition that he was kept in, caused multiple disease to his body.

The worst outcome of his presidency was normalizing with Israel and causing division among Sunnis and Shia Muslims in the world.

The fate of the Soleimani was wonderful. Morsi was the democratically elected and legitimate leader of Egypt. He died as a martyr.

The fate of the shia terrorist named Soleimani was wonderful. Morsi was the democratically elected and legitimate leader of Egypt. He died as a martyr.
Soleimani is a great figure among our Sunni brothers in Palestine, Iraq and Syria. Know if you don't.

Morsi died as a fool who trusted west. Soleimani was martyred by American terrorists. A lot of difference among two figures in Islamic world.

Morsi was strangling Palestinians in Gaza strip, that was unbelievable to me also. Why did he do it? I don't know, but the fact that they killed him unfairly, is true. Most of Ikhwan figures accused him of treason. For example Ahmed Hamrawi accused Morsi of high treason when Morsi appointed Israeli ambassador and sent his greatings to Shimon Perez. He was one the most important figures among Justice and development party of Egypt who left Ikhwan after his protests against Morsi's grave mistakes.
Muhammed Mukhtar Jum'ah also announced his disagrements with Morsi's friendship with Israelis and called him a traitor.

And so on. Morsi made grave mistakes to say the least/

What makes you say that?

What did Morsi do to claim that he was a great man, i would appreciate your answer. Maybe i'm not aware of them.

As a side note, what Morsi did to Palestinians and the oppressed people of Gaza made Hosni Mubarak look like an angel. The guy ordered to destroy 150 tunnels supplying people of Gaza with food, medications, weapons and other necessary stuff for life of almost 1 million people.

His letter of passion for Shimon Perez responsible for massacre of Palestinians was an other blunder that cannot be forgotten. He ensured Israeli security by weakening Palestinian groups. To say the least, he was a God sent man for Israel. There was a day Egyptian coast guards shot fishermen of Gaza.

Morsi ambassador to Israel wore a necktie which was stomped by Israeli symbols.

A piece of his letter to Shimon Perez president of Israel :
"From Egyptian President Muhammed Morsi to Mr. Shimon Perez, President of the State of Israel; My dear and dear friend: "Due to my intense interest in showing the friendly relations that have fortunately connected our governments, I would like to introduce Mr. Aref Mohammad Salem Seyed Al-Ahli as His Ambassador to His Excellency.

Given his great sincerity and diligence in his world positions, he has given me great hope that he will succeed in his mission (Egypt's new ambassador to the Zionist regime) and I hope that he will be grateful to you and your support. And be acceptable and trustworthy. Especially since I am proud to wish happiness and prosperity to His Excellency and prosperity for your country (the occupying regime of Quds). Your loyal friend Muhammed Morsi, the Presidential Palace of Egypt, Cairo, 29 Sha'ban 1433, equal to 19 July 2012 "(!)

Demonizing Shias under Morsi watch
Thus, Morsi accepted the occupation of Palestinian lands in 1967, including East Jerusalem and the Syrian Golan Heights, and parts of Lebanon, and effectively respected Israel's existence.

In the case of Syria, Morsi also put his best effort to fight against interests of the resistance axis. He voted in favor of 6 paragraphs (19-14) of the 40th Extraordinary Summit Declaration of the Islamic Cooperation Organization of Mecca on August 16, 2012, without any restrictions which was dedicated to the Syrian issue. It suspended Syrian membership in Islamic Cooperation Organization and specialized agencies and related organizations.

ALso, on February 7 and 7, 2012, at the 12th round of the Summit of the Heads of Islamic Countries, Morsi stepped up his efforts against the Syrian Arab Republic and the interests resistance axis. 13 paragraphs (23-35) out of 170 paragraphs of the Declaration of the Twelfth Summit of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation in Egypt were devoted to the Syrian issue, which was signed by all members and, of course, the so called Ikhwani President of the Summit.

Morsi stepped up his hostility against the resistance in the last days before his overthrow, and in the final hours of Saturday, June 16th, he officially joined the oppressive groups, the Takfiris, and announced his decision to cut off all contacts between Egypt and the Syrian Arab Republic. To close the Syrian embassy in Cairo based on that and call his representatives from Damascus!

However, he did not stop there and called on the Security Council to agree to establish a no-fly zone over Syria during the Wahhabi Salafi ceremony in Syria, and called on Lebanese Hezbollah to withdraw its forces from Syria immediately. He paid tribute to the many Takfiris during the ceremony, who offered the most inhumane insults to the Shiites and Hezbollah in his presence, calling the Shiites najis (!).

But Mohammad Morsi completed his list of services to Israel and his betrayals of resistance and the Islamic world 10 days before he was overthrown, and by giving the green light to Egyptian Salafis to massacre the Shiites on the night of 11th Sha'ban month, on the night of July 4, In fact. That night he practically sent the Muslim Brotherhood to the dustbin of history in Egypt.

Egyptian Wahhabis and Salafis attacked Sheikh Hassan Shahata (66 years old) and martyred him and his brother Muhammed Shahata (35 years old), Abdul Qadir Omar (45 years old). And then they set his house on fire.

Meanwhile, Egyptian police said they were present near the scene, but were unable to defend their rights under the pretext of a small number of troops, heavy crowds and armed assailants. It happened in Egypt with the aim of helping the Syrian Takfiris.

The conference, entitled "The Egyptian Nation in Support of the Syrian Revolution - Al-Umm Al-Masriya in the Prayer of Al-Thawri Al-Suri" in Cairo, in which Shiites were called najis, was also attended by President Muhammed Morsi. And after the closure of the Syrian embassy in Syria, he called on the Lebanese Hezbollah to withdraw its forces from Syria.

Morsi, meanwhile, tried to escape responsibility by issuing a statement condemning the crime, but Muhammed Al-Nur representative of Egptian SHia community said "I hold President Morsi fully responsible for what happened. This is because there have been provocative remarks against Shiites in the Abu Muslim area for the past two weeks, and no one has intervened to prevent it, despite the fact that we have informed the government forces about this. The government is showing weakness against provocative calls against Shiites. What happened was the result of regular and continuous provocations against the Shiites of Egypt. The police arrived late, and when they arrived, they did nothing. "

Tariq al-Hashimi, another Shiite leader in Egypt, blamed the government for the horrific crime, saying: "The fact that the Salafis besieged Shahata's house and did not disperse anyone during that time is a clear reason why the rule of law did not exist. Egyptian President Muhammed Morsi is fully responsible for this. The Salafis have a plan to follow the Shiite places and annihilate them. "

@waz @Aramagedon @SubWater @Big Tank @BHarwana @Zaki @The Eagle and all other important members of the forum who must know that Israel is leading Takfiris in our region.

Dude, general Soleimani killed countless of American soldiers & generals while your country is occupied by occupier countries for half a century. 80% of your country is getting ruled by [Zionist made] terrorist groups and millions of you [10 million just in Iran] have ran away from your country.

If you had a single general Soleimani instead of Zionist Yankee made terrorist groups such as Taliban, al Qaeda and ISIL, millions of you wouldn't live outside and you haven't been occupied for half a century.

My own conclusion.

1) Israel lives in our differences and disagreements.
2) As said in case 1, Israel's main strategy would be to increase and emphasize on these potential disagreements. So Israel would do it's best to turn these diasgreements and religious differences into armed conflicts. Raising the dust in fact which will blind everyone around.
3) Israel will do it's best to befriend stupid leaders in middle east to conspire against others. Recently Erdogan made the same very mistake again. By sending delegations to TelAviv which was hidden from public.
4) Israel will not leave us alone until we completely annihilate each other.
5) Israel is the root of every damn problem in this region.
6) Israel won't show any mercy to it's former allies, a bright case : Mr.Morsi and his death in court when he wanted to reveal the truth about Israeli involvement in regional conflicts.

Mukhtar is a pupper to sisi who in return hates iran and want its demolish to satisfy his masters in gulf.
Morsi was a scientist and a professor not a thug like Soleimani

. .
At least under al-Sisi Shias are not prosecuted and massacred savagely and rule of law exists in this important Afro country. A safe Egypt is safe for everyone.
There are no shia in Egypt to be prosecuted, that few number of egyptian shias probably escaped after the coup.
A military coup sponsored by saudis is not a heaven for shias.

there is no way egypt is a safe place for minorties not even the christians. and we are no afro country, just by location but no one likes here to be called african.

This is historical revisionism at its finest.

Where Iranians fail is trying to implicate any Sunni country or great Sunni leader with US and Israel, and yet ignoring their own important contributions to the US wars on Afghanistan and Iraq.

Iranians, I see, do not understand the nuances of the Muslim brotherhood, nor their differences which depend country by country.

I consider myself somewhat well-informed on the subject as I know a large number of the leaders of MB in the US on a first name basis.

The basic error in this article is to consider the Levantine Brotherhood (Syrian, Palestinian (PA) mainly) as the same as the movement in Egypt. They are rivals and enemies of each other.

Furthermore Morsi did far more against Israel, even willing to revisit its peace treaty with Israel, and against sectarianism than any other Egyptian government. Morsi had good relations with Turkey, Iran, Pakistan, and Qatar.

if you are well informed you should know that iran hated talibans guts because of the massacre of the diplomats and crimes against shia afghan people i suppose you are also aware iran massed around 200.000 soldiers on the iran afghanistan border ready to invade and topple the taliban militias only to be called back at the last minute by the supreme leader
if any country is going to act like a thug especially towards shia people or people with close ideology to iran they will be confronted wether it be US israel india bangladesh mars, moon etc you fail to understand this simple issue
