Mughal’s Rajput policy vs Afghan policy

The Mughals were bad news and personally shouldn't be considered a Muslim Empire, you can call it a Indian empire that makes me happier. They just created shirk after shirk in Islam and good riddance of them.
Come again? Mughal empire was the greatest empire, whatever the differences with afghans but we come from same regions.

How the hell is it in an Indian empire?. To you Islamic is a sand jigga but how wrong you are.

What the hell is the all about... why you people now digging them...?

Aurangzeb ended up creating enmity with all other powers in the south asia be it Afghans, Sikhs, Rajputs, Marathas, Nizam, Ahoms everyone and this list includes some of their former important allies.

Mughals did one good thing 300 years ago. They almost united the country after many hundred years.:enjoy:

.
Plus his successors were shit.
Had Dara shikoh been the emperor maybe it would have lasted longer atleast in the North
His successors were shyt because he never groomed them, he kept them locked in palaces....he had paranoia that his sons might turn against him like he turned against his father.....you are right, dara shikoh could have ruled better

The rivalry between the Afghan-Pashstuns and the Uzbegh-Mughals run back into history. After the1st Battle of Panipath the Afghans withdrew into the east. The Afghans did make a come back briefly under Sher Shah but that was all. Throughout Mughal rule this rivalry continued. We see this manifested today in the conflict between the Pashtuns and Northern Alliance in Afghanistan.

Lodhi sided with Sangram SIngh in that battle.. 5000 cavalry if I'm not wrong ?

Rana Sanga - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Rana Sangram Singh was not an ally of Ibrahim Lodi, and had in fact been fighting him for supremacy. In the1st Battle of Panipath, Babur had used his cavalry and camel mounted artillery to rout Ibrahim Lodhi who was killed in this battle. Rana Sanga thereafter had to fight Babur for supremacy. They finally met in the Battle of Khanwa where Rana Sanga was defeated and died shortly thereafter due to wounds suffered.

Afghans where brutal and uncivilised compared to the disciplined Rajputs.

. . .
Yes, that's true they where vicious warriors. But I'm a Tomar Rajput, we defeated Lodi Pathans at Gwalior Fort numerous times.
Good for you. But were they ever ruled by Rajputs the answer is NO!!
Did the Pakhtuns rule the Rajputs yes :azn: no offence btw :D

None taken, it's only historical discussion. :)
At least my ancestors where never ruled by them.:azn:
Yes, no one is arguing that Afghans where brilliant warriors but the main reason was because they were united, a good battle would have been a United Rajput force vs Pathans.
