U.S. almost had the deal last time however Trump threw away all the hard work -- question is in the end will Trump do it again? I feel bad for Zalmay running around just to have the boss stab him in the back.

Actually Afghan So called Govt doesn't want such deal between US and Taliban.
USA is still in a fix what to do actually.

The deal this time should include the annexation of Afghanistan, by Pakistan. We do with it as we please, as a new province. The Americans will support this and accept this move in the UN or else have fun bleeding.

Seems nothing will happen..he is just running the show for election ...and is going back and forth to keep all sides happy..

I suspect the nxt President will do a unilateral withdrawal leaving chaos and refugees behind
