Yes MQM is also involved in progressive things as well but it is the bad things which MQM is mostly known for. MQM as a political force only can earn a lot more goodwill if they leave this militancy wings. Same goes for other political parties as well

MQM can earn the goodwill indeed but let me tell you Ground Reality of Karachi does require something like MQM with those Elements because our LEAs are Incompetent and Corrupt to its core and Karachi is handed over to LEA people who come here after paying heavy Bribes just to take their Share so they have tolerated all such group and would keep doing it when Rangers hand over Karachi back to them so MQM as a muscle has also been in the interest of Karachiite in the past.
