MQM Succeeds in Pulling 'Millions of People' against Rangers in Karachi

what i don't get is that a main stream news network. that is considered credible and reliable by the WORLD.

CLAIMED THAT MQM is funded by RAW and yet MQM is not suing the network. nor are ts supporters concerned!

where is the case for DEFAMATION against BBC????

traitors!!!
They are as Credible to them as they were reporting so called ISI double Game few years ago.
THEYclaim they are immigrants then why they are claiming for rights as citizens?
They also Claim their Parent's CONTRIBUTION in Pakistan Movement and justify their rights as Citizens on that basis.

They should consider themself citizens instead of immigrants if they are claiming for rights

I am neither defending MQM nor ridiculing ISI. I am just Trying to Establish Credibility of so called Credible Media that reported MQM is RAW Funded. I used the Word SO CALLED for a reason before Pointing to ISI report of same media Outlet.

Quota system is curse for Pakistan. A biggest hurdle in exploring best talent of Pakistan. Again Quota system is curse. Education for all. Its provincial govt duty to spend money on education rather their protocols. Open merit is open door policy for everyone.
What you expect a safarshi officer and will he contribute for the progress of nation. You know and we know well....

Did Karachi get conquered in battle? I thought the last invaders were British who defeated Sindh in battle in 1843 but they left in 1947. The Sindhi voted to join the federation in 1947? Or did the Sindhi in 1947 vote to have their largest city conquered?

Am curious here?

This is bordering on what the Jewish refugees from Hitler did. Claim rights of possession on some dubious grounds. The reality is the province federated to PAKISTAN by popular vote in 1947. I doubt that the Sindhi's voted in 1947 to give away part of their province to external group. They voted for and federated to PAKISTAN.

Sindh`s role in Pakistan movement - - DAWN.COM

External group? Those who migrated from India to Pakistan at the time of partition, are the only REAL Pakistanis. NO ONE else sacrificed as much as the Muhajirs did simply by the power of their belief in the idea of Pakistan as envisaged by Jinnah. You think the Punjabi elite land owning class would abandon their lands to migrate to a different land strengthened only by the power and conviction of their belief in an idea? NOT in a THOUSAND YEARS.

Punjabi land owning elite class were not happy with Jinnah at all because he stood for everything that went against the elite land-owning classes.

Today, Punjab continues to poison the Pakistani federation. Proof? PMLN is a great start..

NO wonder then, when you meet Bangladeshis, Indians other South Asians abroad and introduce yourself as a Pakistani, they generally find a way to ask if you're a Punjabi or not.. non-Punjabi Pakistanis get more favorable reactions from other South Asians.

I am a native Karachiite and a " Urdu Speaker ".

I consider MQM and its supporters " TRAITORS " of Pakistan.

Shame on anyone that supports this " Murderous and Corrupt " Mafia who murdered people like Hakim Saeed and Zahra Shahid Hussain, both of whom were stalwarts of Urdu speaking community.

There is absolutely " No Discrimination " against Karachiites.

I am a living proof of that. As a " Urdu Speaking " Pakistani I have never faced any discrimination in Pakistan. I have served in the Armed Forces of Pakistan and I have life long friends from Punjab, KPK and Sindh who served with me. We are like Brothers and have a strong bond as mates. I have always been treated with utmost respect and affection by my mates from all other provinces including Punjab and KPK.

Bravo!

I am like you. Born and raised a Karachiite. Honestly, the "quota system" probably deprived me of admission to medical education in mid 80s; I was bitter and supported MQM--never affiliated though--then I realized that Altaf was a fascist .

The Urdu speakers have risen to the highest ranks in Pakistan dispropopotionate to our numbers. In all walks of life. Quota System is all American Affirmative Action. Perhaps a bit unfair sometimes but good long terms.

My friends in Karachi university included all--they have been lifelong friends: "Thet Punjabis" from Jhelam and another part of Punjab , Potohari/HIndku, Memon, Bihari, Sindhi, UP and other Urdu speakers, a mix Pashto/Urdu speaker. We were only about 10-12 men in our class surrounded by about 30 women students :)

Maybe we briefly looked at each other with curious eyes around 1985/86,given the extreme ethnic politics then, but I dont think we were ever hostile or suspicious. Inf fact, we were friends.

MQM is a dead meat under Altaf Hussein.

1000% Agreed.

Our system should be MERIT-BASED.

Quotas promote mediocrity and lackluster performance. Merit promotes excellence. If we want to build Pakistan there is no other way than to institutionalize MERIT-BASED criteria.
