To claim that an enemy state is funding an established mainstream political party, is nothing but lose talk. There have been allegations of this kind even in the past...& no one was taking 'em quite seriously apart from those within Pakistan who are addicted to conspiracy theories. Only difference this time around is...it appears in an international media outlet. Then again...sources are same as the previous ones! Not much credibility there. Even BBC is playing it safe by putting the onus of the story on to 'Pakistani official' & a leader of the political party in question.

India doesn't need to fund any political party to destabilise Pakistan's economy. All they have to do is...just hike their own defence budget & Pak will stretch itself beyond it's capacity to counter India. Karachi is not the playground for MQM's militant wing alone. Every other political party have armed militant wing..whether it's PPP or ANP. They are all collectively responsible for the prevailing situation in your economic hub.
