MQM is a political party involved in voilence, & maybe ALTAF is a don , but still they are ready to be a part of pakistan, & thus acceptable to us, but TTp & talibans are the recognized terrorists, trying to make a free talibanistan out of pakistan, with killing of patriots like, major genrl sanaullha ?
but your tongue still stops short, against them why?

I already said we can't open three different front in Single year. Karachi is financial hub of Pakistan.... First we should clear it from terrorist where MQM has 85% share of bhatta and target killing . There is nothing in Waziristan , just mountains, and covers 15,000 square kilometers area.... While Karachi is more important for government... Hence Karachi comes first because of financial hub...
War is last option in Waziristan , i never said that war is not option.
This is reality that we can't afford 3 military operations at same time... There is no substitute of table talk, play your cards better and try to convince them on own terms... Put them on Hold.

Afzal Khan / 20 September 2013

Pakhtunkhwa Milli Awami Party (PkMAP) chief Mahmood Khan Achakzai has suggested a Lebanon-type remedy to Karachi’s violence and to the electoral domination of the city by the Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM).
Apparently, hitting the MQM while speaking in the National Assembly, the veteran Pashtun nationalist leader from Balochistan and an ally of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, also demanded a government inquiry into May 12, 2007 massacre by gunmen to block a visit to Karachi by then-deposed Chief Justice Iftikhar Mohammed Chaudhry.

In another reference to the MQM activists, Achakzai said nobody mentions the release of over 8,000 persons under the infamous National Reconciliation Ordinance (NRO) promulgated by former military ruler Gen. Pervez Musharraf in 2007 that also pardoned several politicians including Asif Ali Zardari from corruption charges. Thousands of MQM activists freed under NRO were accused of heinous crimes including murder, terrorism, kidnapping for ransom and extortion.

Achakzai’s remarks provoked a storm of criticism from MQM lawmakers who linked the move to what they saw as conspiracies to undermine the mandate of their party of mainly the majority Urdu-speaking population.

Achakzai, who sat relaxed in his front-row seat after his speech to hear speaker after speaker from the MQM denounce his thoughts, had wondered why members of other linguistic or ethnic groups in Karachi like Sindhis, Pashtuns, Punjabis and Balochis could not be elected to either the Sindh provincial assembly or National Assembly in proportion to their populations.

The PkMAP leader estimated the minimum strength of non-Urdu-speaking communities in Karachi’s population of about 20 million at 1m to 1.5m Sindhis, about as many Punjabis and Balochis separately and 3m to 4m Pashtuns, and said “they should get their rightful representation (in the assemblies)”.

He cited the example of Lebanon, whose constitution provides for a Maronite Christian president, a Sunni prime minister and a Shia speaker of the chamber of deputies as a means to ensure inter-communal harmony.

With no support from any other party in the house and some milder finger-pointing from some members of the Pakistan People’s Party and at least one from the ruling Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz during the debate, MQM members seemed much angered by Achakzai’s description of Karachi as the “city of terrorists” but their demand for an apology from him went unheeded after the apparently unguarded remark was ordered to be expunged from the house record.

KARACHI: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) supreme leader, Altaf Hussain has vehemently decried the registration of First Inspection Report (FIR) of Lyari ganglord Zafar Baloch’s murder against his party’s Member National Assembly Nabil Gabol, Geo News reported.

“This frame-up nothing but another act of political vengeance against MQM” he said in a statement issued form London.

He demanded that the case against Gabol, which was out-and-out a false incrimination, be withdrawn immediately.

Hussain further added that just a few days ago a similar case was registered against an MQM's former Member Provincial Assembly (MPA) Nadeem Hashmi and now Gabol was being victimized for being a Haq Parast.

On the other hand according to a statement issued by MQM Coordination Committee, Gabol was in Islamabad when Zafar Baloch was killed.

“He was there to attend the National Assembly session”, the statement said.

The committee said that Baloch was killed near Bizenjo Chowk Chakiwara, which was regarded as the den of gangsters responsible for gangwar in Lyari.

"Despite these facts, a case was registered against Haq Gabol out of bias", the committee said.

MQM Coordination Committee appealed to the President Mamnoon Hussain, Prime Minister Nawaz Shariff, and Federal Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar to take notice of this illegal and unjust act.
