KARACHI: Rabbita (Coordination) Committee of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) has decided not to bring the matter of its lawmakers' resignations to the table with the government and instead demanded that the resignations be accepted at once.

The decision was reached at a joint meeting of MQM Rabbitta committees London and Karachi after it reviewed the matter in depth.

A communique issued at the conclusion of the meeting, said the government did not value the role of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F), Maulana Fazl-ur-Rehman as mediator. Therefore, the Maulana need not bother any more about making further efforts in this regard, it said.

MQM said in its announcement that the party’s lawmakers be deemed as former MPs in all the three top government forums.

The party also regretted Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s not taking out time to visit its leader Rashid Godil who suffered multiple bullet wounds after coming under an armed attack in Karachi a couple of days back.

PTI members were going to TV talks shows and down playing MQM saying their resignations are pure drama, they have no intention to resign and they shouldn't participate in elections (though he was only a representative I think). Even here many members were saying these resignations are all drama.

Yet it is MQM that had resigned many times and actually mean it, not topi drama like PTI.

So yea, jokes on PTI and Imran who said "time for negotiations are over, we won't come to fake assembly, fake speaker" etc etc.

Good decision & a real chance to prove that MQM holds the real mandate in Karachi even though it would be difficult results but if MQM can climb up that mountain top that will surly will boost its political status & its organization at large ?
MQM should also demand the acceptance of the resignations of PTI by federal govt so that the real pupit of establishment goes under the land politicaly ?
New elections should be called in so , every one comes back with fair & clear mandate .

Govt is in no condition to decide anything on MQM ?

I know this is a katt putli government and can't decide major things by themselves and MQM doesn't care it! For sure coming months are more interesting in Pak politics, in Lahore the decision of NA122 is important one also if PTI win this case might be things changed a little more

Nawaz Sharif is just trying his best to avoid any clash with establishment but some day he has to stand up & that day is comming to him very fast ?
