KARACHI: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) has announced to end sit-ins in Karachi, Geo News reported.
This was announced by MQM leader Faisal Sabzwari while addressing the participants of sit-in outside Chief Minister House here on late Thursday night.
He said MQM staged sit-ins against arrest of party workers, adding eight activists were released following the protest.
Sabzwari said half out of 15 workers were also being released. He hoped that other detained activists would also be released soon.
MQM Chief Altaf Hussain on late Wednesday night had announced to stage sit-ins across Karachi against arrest of party workers during raid at sector office in scheme 33.
