To ponder further:

Rabita Committee has admitted that AH has been hospitalized and not informed of ZM's press conference...

Few possibilities here:

1. That Rabita committee is telling complete truth

This would mean that either AH's condition is really serious that they don't want to tell him about such an important development or they don't mind side tracking him


2. Rabita committee is only telling half truth

AH is 'hospitalized' on pretext of preventing the physical arrest (news reports are in place to say that AH has been under house arrest) ..this means 'na nigaltay baney na ugaltay baney' ...

Some other things are clear that there has been no violent reaction (so far) unlike ZM's previous statement - this makes it clear that AH is the only person calling the shots and the rest are just puppoets.

British High comm to pk has said that AH has not been arrested - this is true as news reports are of him being house arrest i.e. restricted movement and/or hospitalized ... while MI6 and other sec agencies have decided not to comment as this (according to them) is a national security issue

Wow !! in all the scenarios - it is clear that Altaf hussien's days are numbered

One thing is clear that no Sindhi or Pathan etc is against Urdu speaking people - infact all Pakistanis by virtue of being Pakistanis are urdu speakers. However, there is considerable hatred against MQM - specially their top brass.. I hope every Pakistani realises this and don't let MQM play the victim card ..

well he didn't got heart attack. What I heard from my reliable sources around 6 or 8 months months ago is that AH is a cancer patient and he was going through some treatment and the sources told actually to my father that we are gonna hear some big news after 6 months or so. It looks like something is really fishy and there is some weight in this unconfirmed report.

ISLAMABAD: The British High Commissioner Adam Thomson said Monday that MQM chief Altaf Hussain is a free citizen and no restrictions have been made on his movement, DawnNews reported.

“Reports of Altaf Hussain’s arrest are false whereas Imran Farooq’s murder investigation will be completed soon,” said Thomson.

Thomson said that the Scotland Yard is proactively investigating Imran Farooq’s murder case and will soon reach a final conclusion.

When inquired about the letter sent to former British Prime Minister Tony Blair by the MQM chief he replied “you should ask Altaf Hussain about it” whereas he said he cannot comment on MQM member Nasreen Jalil’s letter.

“We wish to see Pakistan developing and stable at every step and Britain should not be dragged into Pakistan’s internal affairs but it’s true that the political situation in Pakistan is interesting,” said Thomson.

Separately, the Interior Minister Rehman Malik while speaking to the media said that MQM chief Altaf Hussain is not anti-Pakistan.
