Upcoming movie of Reham Khan’s Janaan Release Date, First Look
Pakistani film industry is all set to release the best movies of all time like Maalik now they are going to release another movie Janaan starring Reham Khan.

Plot or short Story:

“Janaan is a story of a Pakhtun girl who returns from Britain after her education. The story comically defies the stereotypes about Pashtun families”, says Hareem Farooq, who will co-produce the movie.

According to the actor
Janaan is written by Osman Khalid Butt and will feature Armeena Rana Khan as the lead protagonist. The movie is said to be a romantic comedy, revolving around a Pakhtun family and is aimed to portray Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and its people in a positive light. The movie will be dubbed entirely in the Urdu language.

The trailer of the much-anticipated film of the year Dobara Phir Se is out now and it proves that the film industry is indeed undergoing a revival.

Fresh faces and a storyline combined with equally refreshing cinematography show the impeccable talent found within the Pakistani entertainment industry.

Starring Adeel Husain, Hareem Farooq, Sanam Saeed and Ali Kazmi in key roles, the Mehreen Jabbar directed film is “a journey of love and friendship”.

But this journey has its fair share of ups and downs — it’s all about winning, losing and giving love another chance.

By the looks of it, Adeel’s character seems to be married to Tooba Siddiqui’s and has a child. But things get complicated when he falls in love with Hareem’s character.

Speaking to The Express Tribune earlier, Mehreen revealed that her film is about the unlikely love story of soul mates that just can’t seem to be in the right place at the right time for the right reasons. “It’s about relationships, friendships and finding one’s way in life.”


Dobara Phir Se also stars Atiqa Odho and Shaz Khan and is slated to release this year.

Movie on Swat set to release on July 22nd

LAHORE: “Revenge of the Worthless” has been cleared by the Central Board of Film Censors (CBFC) and is set to release on 22nd of July. A realistic narrative film portraying events that took place in the area of Swat Valley and will hit the cinemas across the country any time soon.

Produced under the banner of Hunerkada Films, Revenge of the Worthless depicts the struggles of a few unsung heroes during the 2009 Swat insurgency. The film features an ensemble cast of actors Jamal Shah, Firdous Jamal, Maira Khan, Shamil Khan and Ayub Khosa.

It speaks about the effects of the incident on cultural narratives and the lives of the people residing in the region. The background score of the movie has been produced by Mehdi Raza whereas the soundtrack includes the vocals talents of Jamal Shah, Qawwal Zafar Raza and a Pashto rap-song by newcomer Sunny Khan, amongst others.

The movie is primarily in Urdu, featuring glimpses of Pashto and English. Speaking to media, spokesperson for film maker group Habib Mushtaq highlighted that the group was all set to launch some big banner films in 2016 to boost Pakistani cinema.
