He has already spent enough years in prison for those things.

What do you mean? So we should not give a life sentence to anybody then? Because that is too much?

HIs sentence has been unofficially turned into a life sentence.

.
If i remember the last time pakistan send a "innocent" indian back he confessed to being a RAW agent as soon as he landed and in return the indian govt sent the a dead tortured body of a pakistani cricket fan in return......nice gesture but i think we will give your request a miss this time.
Pakistan should show as much clemency as the indian govt did towards Afzal Guru.

Thing is he was accused and the evidence shown was not a credible one.

In the mean while he has spent almost 2 life sentences, even if had committed those crimes he has already served the sentences. The time he has spent in Jail can be considered as a punishment itself in most of the cases.

.
If he was really guilty, he would have been executed immediately, like what happened to Bhutto. Pakistan is embarrassed to accept its fault, like it always does. Thousands of people have died in terrorist violence in Pakistan since then. Why not a single person has been convicted ? Sarabjeet is clearly a convenient scape goat.

Had the same evidence presented before Indian apex court the verdict wouldn't have been different. You know a tape containing confession & collective conscience of the society!

BTW what's the update on the execution of Mr. Gandhi's assassinators, Mr. Murugan and company? Haven't they spent almost 2 life sentences as well? What's your take on their release?

. .
Send Sarbjit singh to kp or fata we will give him the best treatment he deserves.

A life sentence is a life sentence...for life.

Whatever you may say regarding evidence, but he was convicted by a Pakistani court, and that is good enough for me.

LAHORE/AMRITSAR: Family members of death-row Indian prisoner Sarabjit Singh on Sunday crossed over to Pakistan through Attari border and demanded that he be transferred to India for treatment, even as tweets by Pakistani journalists, which were later removed, sparked rumours that he had died.

Late on Sunday night, Indian officials said Sarabjit's condition remained critical. Sarabjit was admitted to Jinnah Hospital with serious head injuries on Friday after he was hit with bricks and blunt objects by two fellow inmates in the Kot Lakhpat jail.

Doctors said he continued to be in deep coma . Sarabjit has been kept in a separate ICU under tight security. His family was allowed a glimpse of him through the ICU window.

Pakistan on Sunday night also granted Indian diplomats consular access to Sarabjit for the second time.

Sarabjit's treatment a challenge: Pakistani doctor

A Pakistani doctor attending on Indian prisoner Sarabjit Singh, who was brutally attacked by jail inmates, on Sunday said, "With the level of his deep unconsciousness, Sarabjit's treatment has turned out to be a major challenge to the medical board."

Sarabjit suffered a critical bone fracture in the jail after which he was taken to the Jinnah Hospital's surgical emergency on Friday evening, the doctor said. After examination by neurosurgeons and physicians on Sunday, the medical board was of the view that there was no need of surgical intervention at this stage.

Sarabjit's family members-wife Sukhpreet Kaur, sister Dalbir Kaur and daughters Poonam and Swapandeep Kaur-had a glimpse of him in the ICU on Sunday afternoon. They were not allowed to enter , according to hospital officials. The family members were received in Lahore by Sarabjit's lawyer Awais Sheikh, where medical superintendent Sheikh Ijaz briefed them about his condition.

Pakistan on Sunday night granted consular access to Indian diplomats to Sarabjit for the second time. Two Indian officials had been camping outside the hospital since Saturday morning for access.

Pakistan officials said as per the protocol, consular access is allowed for convicts only once but as a goodwill gesture Pakistan has decided to allow access for the second time. The first access was given early Saturday morning. Pakistan gave gratis visa to family members of Sarabjit.

India is seeking permission from Pakistan to allow members of the India-Pakistan Judicial Committee to see Sarabjit in the hospital. The panel, which is currently inspecting prisoners in Rawalpindi, has Justice (Rtd) A S Gill and M A Khan as Indian members.

In a preliminary probe report submitted to the government, jail authorities said security lapse was the main cause of attack. Prison sources said one of the attackers told officials that he attacked because Sarabjit was a murderer of innocent Pakistanis.

Dalbir told TOI , "Two months back, Sarabjit sent me a letter saying that he felt threatened from three persons, in jail," she said.

Pakistani officials, however, claimed that Sarabjit had never complained to jail authorities about threats to his life.

Move Sarabjit Singh to India for treatment, family demands - The Times of India

Not happening in the near or even far-distant future.

At least they are allowed to visit him - despite him being a "high priority" inmate, convicted spy, convicted terrorist.

indian hung Afzal Guru and his family wasn't even notified by the govt about the immediate decision to hang him; they found out through the media.

we dont require nor we should entertain "demands" like these

He has already spent enough years in prison for those things.

spent "enough" years for bombing Lahore and killing 15 people not to mention espionage?

where's the logic in that? is that what you would want if the situation was reversed? :what:

"enough years"

There isn't any evidence....and please, pakistanis kill, maim and blow up each other on a daily basis. We don't see those folks "brought to justice".

you're right.....so we should use the convicted indian spy as a good example then to show how miserable life would be for engaging in murderous acts

.
pakistan don't have any good hospital hundred thousands of pakistani comes India for treatment he should be moved to India ASAP.

.
This is the families request, and fair enough. However this guy has been captured and sentenced in Pakistan and it does seem he was guilty, as such he is a prisoner of Pakistan and if I think it is perfectly understandable if the Pakistani people and govt say no to this request. Can anyone imagine the outrage that would have been sparked had Kasab's family asked for him to go to Pakistan for treatment?

Maybe the ideal solution would be to be sent to a third country like an Arab nation for treatment.

I'd like to think there is some sort of professional courtesy among the spies of the world and as such the ISI treats this RAW agent well.

This man was just doing his job, no need to treat him in an inhumane manner for that.
