Move Over Huawei, First Chinese 5G Phone to Hit Stores May Be Vivo's

Would you stop making a fool of yourself by jumping into this thread.. First you make up this obvious lie about Huawei already having a 5G phone in stores for "half a month". Just pulled it out of your butt just for no reason other to add a post. I have to show you a quote from the CEO of Huawei himself to shut you up.

Now you are rambling about volume when pretty much every phone maker on the planet other than Huawei is going to be using the Qualcomm X50.

Just give it up. I'm not going to waste my time talking to somebody who is clueless.

i did make mistake and i admitted above and said neither qualcomm is ready. you're the fool here that don't give up. show me phone that use qualcomm chip that is not test model for reviewers or for display at trade show? taking preorders mean shit. it's just markeing propaganda most of the time. they change the date when time to deliver. the recent fake 5g from at&t is good example, tesla and apple, too, when intel fails to deliver. lol

The title of this thread is even stating no Chinese 5G phones have "hit stores" yet. So what's the purpose of asking me to show you a phone that has shipped when the answer is in the title. If you suddenly mean non-Chinese then I have no idea other than Samsung mentioned the beginning of May for a Qualcomm X50 phone.

For those that don't know, the Samsung Galaxy S10 5G uses the X50 modem, which is only capable of download speeds up to 5 Gbps.

the Snapdragon X50 offers peak theoretical download speeds of 5 gigabits

Compare that to the Balong 5000.

X50 is 10nm.
Balong 5000 is 7nm.

There is no comparison.

And don't bother mentioning the upcoming X55 modem. That may not show up until 2020.

Balong 5000 ships in June 2019.

Wrong chip. The cellphone chip is the 5000. You are taking about the 5G01 chip.

Wrong.
Balong 5000 is for phone and CPE.
Huawei got every product covered.

lol Verizon is marketing their 5G Home service with 300 Mbps speed. Why not just stick with Xfinity with speeds that slow?

What internet speeds should I expect with 5G Home?
You should expect ultrafast internet speeds using the new 5G Home service with typical speeds around 300 Mbps and, depending on your location, maximum speeds up to 940 Mbps.

Huawei claims ‘world’s first’ 5G hardware for automotive industry

APRIL 22, 2019 6:54 AM

(Reuters) — China’s Huawei Technologies launched on Monday what it said was the world’s first 5G communications hardware for the automotive industry, in a sign of its growing ambitions to become a key supplier to the sector for self-driving technology.

Huawei said in a statement that the so-called MH5000 module is based on the Balong 5000 5G chip:agree: which it launched in January. “Based on this chip, Huawei has developed the world’s first 5G car module with high speed and high quality,” it said.

It launched the module at the Shanghai Autoshow, which began last week and runs until Thursday.

“As an important communication product for future intelligent car transportation, this 5G car module will promote the automotive industry to move towards the 5G era,” Huawei said.

It said the module will aid its plans to start commercializing 5G network technology for the automotive sector in the second half of this year.

Huawei has in recent years been testing technology for intelligent connected cars in Chinese cities such as Shanghai, Shenzhen and Wuxi and has signed cooperation deals with a swathe of car makers including FAW, Dongfeng and Changan.

The company, which is also the world’s biggest telecoms equipment maker, is striving to lead the global race for next-generation 5G networks but has come under increasing scrutiny from Washington which alleges that its equipment could be used for espionage. Huawei has repeatedly denied the allegations.
