Its simple, if the conflict is between foreign religions like Islam and Christianity and native religions, then native religions win, no question asked. For instance, if Hindus believe there is a temple converted to mosque, mosque needs to go away and replaced by temple that stood there. Simple as that.

If the conflict is between believes of two different school of thoughts of same religion or two different native religions. The local native religion to state or the local belief takes precedence. Most of the time, local believes converges on all major issues.
