Look at Pakistanis denying watching Bollywood at all. Pakistan has one of the highest viewership of Bollywood cinema outside India.

There are few Pakistanis may be few thousands on this forum out of which hardly 500 would be active of whom hardly 1% seem to be watching Indian movies so technically members here are right. Outside PDF there are hundreds of Pakistanis who watch any crap from India. I remember watching very few very very limited movies may be 4 during all these years of which one or two were art movies which I do not remember the names but one was about women issues which also starred Rekha while remaining I remember were of Randeep Hooda quiet a good actor. And the last one was Dangal. thats it. I cannot stand watching a desi movie expanded to 3 hours

I was forced into watching some indian movies with my indian friends. The movie I saw was namastey london which was pretty stupid. I say that because it shows a pairing of a villager with a ego maniac british bimbo and how he desperately tries to win her over a handsome white guy. Give me a break! The only reason I bare to watch such a film is because of my friends.

3. Rocket Singh, Salesman of the year ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rocket_Singh:_Salesman_of_the_Year ) - If you want to build a company and/or are jaded by the corruption in the corporate world, watch this film.

4. Harud ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Harud ) - A good film on what the ordinary, unaligned Kashmiri goes through in the ongoing Kashmir troubles.

5. Jaane bhi do yaaron ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jaane_Bhi_Do_Yaaro ) - The finest Indian satire about the politics-business corruption nexus.

6. Prahaar, meaning attack in Hindi ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Prahaar:_The_Final_Attack ) - Set in a army commando training academy and outside it. Not a war film.

Give me some Indian art movies. Seriously Indian/Pakistani Urdu/Hindi movies are not my cup of tea . It is not about any Cross border rivalry or enmity but honestly speaking in my immediate family that is among my siblings I am the odd one that opted for English movies over any Hindi/Urdu Indian/Pakistani since childhood. Of all the Indian actors I cherish watching that comedian actor who issued some controversial statement against Pakistan i think recently or so. But he is a very good actor besides randeep.

Watch 3 Idiots. So far its my most favorite Indian movie. Even the previous Chinese premier openly admired this film.

i have always loved movies made by amir khan movies like 3idiots, tare zamen par, pk have one of the most amazing story lines maybe because people in south asia can relate to them idk.
most of the recent indian movies have been crap with the same plot of boy saves girl with fights physically impossible and then they sing blablabla.
btw people should also watch old Pakistani movies because they are so fun to watch

I have not watched any Indian movies, maybe looked through a couple trailers.

The stupidest trailer I saw was this one, based off of the "true story" of their supposed "surgical strikes".

Chinese members should have a look at this, I wouldn't be surprised if they made one about Doklam.

if you want to watch sensible intelligent movies you should search for old nashiruddin shah/om puri/smita patil / deepti naval / farooq Seikh movies.
Among recent movies i follow Rajat Kapoor... most of the projects he is associated with is good... there are quite a few decent movies made for more discerning viewer.
My suggestion will be

Honeymoon travels Pvt Ltd
Manorama 6ft under

Detective Byomkesh Bakshy(not art cinema but pretty good, if you like randeep you will love sushant ).
