We are ta!king about POST 9/11 scenario. Protocols were changed and strengthened. Its not walk in park that someone goes on to deliver misiles parts to a rogue state with full knowledge of US.
Secondly, ironically you guys claim that our missile tech is based on Korean tech and yet we are delivering it to them. What a bunch of baloney
Uh Pakistan was not delivering missile parts. They were picking up missile parts from North Korea. Pakistan was giving North Korea gas centrifuge designs (the stuff they made AQ Khan take the fall for).
It was a straight up barter according to the US leaks.
Now if you have some issue with that, you can go take it up with Time magazine and the New York Times. Maybe they will tell you who their sources were in the Pentagon
Buts its funny how you think the US will declare war on Nuclear armed Pakistan for proliferating something that was not covered at all under the WoT agreement in the first place.
I mean US got royalled pissed at Japan for providing 9-axis mill to the USSR (which led to USSR making much quieter submarine propellers which was a grave threat to many earlier classes of passive sonar that NATO used at the time):

and I got tons of more incidents regarding various technologies worldwide. Did the US declare war on such allies each time such a major violation took place? No. The US weighs the options and also factors in the level of complicity of the national administration of the country....and tables what it thinks is the most effective response.
So the US takes action as it sees fit without resorting to outright war (which is expensive and potentially massively irresponsible against a country like Pakistan which will definitely send some nukes India's way no matter who is invading it)....especially if other very vulnerable avenues exist like it does in the case of Pakistan.
