This thread is not about the best cities of Pakistan, it is about the most improved & most badly affected cities of Pakistan in the last couple of decades.
In my opinion, this would be my list of the 5 most improved cities:
1. Faisalabad, Punjab (started from scratch & done well)
2. Mirpur, Azad Kashmir (survived the earthquake)
3. Lahore, Punjab/Muzaffarabad, Azad Kashmir (great before the earthquake)
4. Sialkot, Punjab
5. Karachi, Sindh (huge urbanization, but there is still violence)
The 5 most badly affected cities in my opinion are:
1. Peshawar, KPK (violence from the WOT)
2. Quetta, Balochistan (ethnic violence. Neglected by government)
3. Kohat, KPK (violence from the WOT)
4. Nowshera (severely affected by the floods)
5. Khudabad, Sindh (neglected by the government)
What do you guys think?
