Actually Christian missionaries came to East Asia, establish a foothold by building lots of missionary schools, hospitals...etc. The Chinese who embrace them prosper.

Most elites schools in HK, and SG and many elites schools in PRC before 1949 were founded by missionaries. I would say this is a good strategy. The Chinese culture reacted far better than Muslims or Hindus. The Chinese founded Peking University were as good (or better) as the missionary schools. The Chinese also begin to identify themselves as Chinese and Christian, following our old tradition of assimilating foreign culture.

The Islamic culture simply enact laws to ban conversion.

The Indian Christian completely hate Hinduism.

I don't understand Christianity as i'm buddhist. However, Christians do 't like any other religion. that is why i don't loke them either other than being crazy
