Mosques play Kurdish national anthem in support of PDKI Peshmerga Forces

There is overwhelming support in Iranian Kurdistan for the participation of the PDKI Peshmerga Forces in defending Iraqi Kurdistan. Since the Islamic State (IS) attacked some cities in Iraqi Kurdistan, the PDKI Peshmerga forces have been at the forefront of the war against IS.

On August 9 people gathered in the Haji Qader Mosque in the Kurdish town of Naqada and sang the Kurdish national anthem and chanted slogans such as “long live Peshmerga!” for 10 minutes.

At the same time, people driving around in their cars in downtown Naqada were singing traditional Kurdish songs praising the Peshmerga.

Also, in the Kurdish city of Saqez members of the PDKI’s underground organization disseminated leaflets containing information about the participation of the Peshmerga forces in defending Iraqi Kurdistan in the war against IS.

Members of PDKI’s underground organization in Saqez pledged their readiness to go to the war front if the PDKI leadership requested them to do so.

Fearing the recent military advances of the PDKI Peshmerga Forces and their political consequences, the Iranian regime has given free leeway to small Sunni Salafi extremist groups to stage public demonstrations against the PDKI. The Iranian regime does not allow any other groups to stage demonstrations.

The people of Iranian Kurdistan have in various ways expressed their support for the PDKI and the Peshmerga forces. They have done this in spite of the risks involved for their own safety.

The Iranian security forces crack down in the most brutal way on any peaceful gatherings or demonstrations by the people of Kurdistan.

The source is KDPI, what did you expect they are going to say about this supposed support for their actions? Anyway, its becoming more clear that Iran is supporting Kurdish Peshmerga forces against ISIS, simply because you can't handle them alone, which the last few days have proven.

Thirty miles away in Erbil, U.S. advisers huddled this week with Peshmerga and Iraqi air force commanders to a similar end.

The parallel tracks demonstrated clearly that the U.S. and Iran, longtime competitors for influence in Iraq, have found common cause in the effort to resuscitate the Peshmerga, long mythologized as Iraq's most capable fighting force.

The regime cracks down on all demonstrations in Iran that arent organized or controlled in some way by the state. It is nothing special or unique to Kurds that their rallies are suppressed. All Iranians face the same political censorship.

Neither does your beloved SAA or your beloved IA, yet they are the ones with the weapons and intel. So far YPG is the only force in the region that hasn't lost territories to them but gained and liberated areas from their hands.

Peshmerga is/was ill equipped, IA didn't give them their share, neither in forms of payments or salaries they recieved nothing and according to international laws they couldn't buy any weapons even though they tried, they tried in Bulgaria, they tried with the Tatars but your puppet nation Iraq didn't allow them. The sooner Kurds gets their independance the eassier things get and they will be able to handle themselves but your regime doesn't support that so don't come whining that Peshmerga can't fight when they don't even have the ammo, which why they were forced to retreat in several areas before. Otherwise they can very well fight them.

It's the whore Hero Talabani wife of teh former president that is so keen to spend her Newroz celebrations in Iran, if it wouldn't be for her Iraq would have a different president.

No one allows the Kurds to stand on their own except the AKP.

By the way, you're from Mashad or something so what do you know about the Kurds of Iran? You know the entire region is still a military zone right?

See what for myself? I just said that censorship and suppression of political activism exists in Iran, but that it is not a situation unique to Kurdish areas but the whole country faces the same security threats and crack-downs on political activism unless it is something state controlled or pro-regime.

Reminds of the Russian case where they supply these non-exsistant weapons to the rebels as they were all tagged for destruction so they doesn't officially belong to them and noone can accuse them.

1) Turkish Armed Forces didnt supply any M-60 which looks similar to T-55 in design.

2) in order a syrian tank to enter Syria from Turkey, it must have entered first to Turkey from Syrian border.
