Alleged damage to temple structure, residents protest - The Hindu
Updated: July 15, 2015 15:59 IST

Tension prevailed for a while at Hirepet in Old Hubballi on Wednesday after reports about alleged damage to a temple structure.

Alleging that some miscreants had damaged the structure of the Dyamavva Temple, the residents and members of pro-Hindutva organisations resorted to a road block demanding immediate action against the culprits.

Following their protest tension prevailed for a while in the vicinity resulting in shopkeepers and commercial establishments downing the shutters fearing violence. Subsequently the intervention of the police resulted in bringing the situation back to normality.

The protestors then submitted a complaint to the Old Hubballi Police Station demanding the arrest of the perpetrators of the crime and dispersed after the police assured them of requisite action.

Assistant Commissioner of Police B.B. Patil told The Hindu that the residents had alleged that some miscreants had damaged a portion of the tiny temple and that he had assured them of action. He also said that the structure was quite old and had become fragile. “We have assured them of thorough investigation taking into consideration every angle.”

It might be recalled that Old Hubballi witnessed a road block by members of pro-Hindutva organisations recently alleging that some boys had deliberately pelted stones at a temple. However they boys who were ‘caught’ by the residents had told the police that they had pelted stones while chasing a stray dog.

Having said that, the guy was kept in jail for years and was released out of jail based on anglo-saxon laws just like your extremists are released from jails.

Having said that. I agree this guy should be eliminated too just like Usman Kurd and others of LeJ and JeI. We are lacking in his case and we should do it now. No excuse for this.

Now back to my question that you tried to dodge.

How many people involved in the deaths/murders of Indian muslims you guys have killed/eliminated/hanged??

Can't see the picture you posted, can you please post it again.

As far as the links you provided ... you need to understand the basic difference between a bail and acquittal

Indian law takes up cases irrespective of gender/caste or religion. I agree it takes a lot of time but considering our media is anti BJP they bring up such cases with more enthusiasm than say Muslims killings Hindus.

Yeah I know the difference between acquittal and bail.

And the news you are posting of his acquittal is of May 2014. While in Dec 2014 he was again put in jail in another case of terrorism. And right now he is in jail. while the guys involved in the murder of Indian muslims are free and out of jail.

Now coming back to the question that I asked earlier which you are trying to avoid again and again.

Like we killed many terrorists involved in the murder of shias, how many people involved in the murders/killings of Indian muslims that you have hanged/killed/eliminated??

These kind of incidents show the mental maturity of many people among us...

Swami Aseemanand Got bail due to ‘procedural delays’: Punjab and Haryana High Court - timesofindia-economictimes

NEW DELHI: Swami Aseemanand, accused in the Samjhauta Express bombings of February 2007, had been granted bail by the Punjab and Haryana High Court last year because of delays in the trial for which he could not be held responsible, according to a copy of the judgement released on Tuesday.

The court also said bail was awarded on account of "procedural delays" attributable to the National Investigation Agency Act and the "substantial time" it would take to complete examination of all the witnesses. However, Aseemanand remains in jail in connection with two other terror cases. The court had pronounced its order on August 28 last year and the judgment was made available on Tuesday, after more than eight months. "Indeed, the delay is highly unusual. It may affect the right of the state (NIA) to file an appeal in the superior court as it does not have a copy of the judgement with it," said Devinder Pal Singh, a senior Delhi High Court lawyer.

Counsel for the National Investigation Agency had been waiting for the copy of the judgement to file an appeal against the verdict, as were others accused in the case who sought to file bail applications on the basis of the grounds cited by the high court. Pakistan has raised the issue of making a "weak case" against Aseemanand, who is alleged to be responsible for the bombing of the Delhi-Lahore Samjhauta Express in which 68 people, mostly Pakistani nationals, were killed.

The neighbouring country points to the slow progress in the case when confronted by India about the release of 26/11 conspirator Zaki-ur-Rehman Lakhvi. However, Aseemanand has not been able to walk out of jail on account of other cases against him - the blasts at the Mecca Masjid in Hyderabad and at Ajmer Dargah in 2007.

I replied to this question in the previous post, Indian courts don't differentiate between religion when it comes to punishing culprits. A dead Indian muslim or a hindu is a dead "Indian" for them. religion doesn't makes a difference when it comes to handing out justice. Our judicial process is slow, I agree but it isn't selective.

Good. I hope someone is hanged for killing Indian muslims in such massacres. There is always a first you know. :)

Humm. I hope someone gets hanged for committing massacres against Indian muslims. It would be a first in 67 years but still it would be a real step towards justice for Indian muslims.

Of course...I am proud of my justice system....For me justice should prevail wheather it is for Muslim for Non Muslims...I do not need certificate from a nation where they do not see any people deserve justice apart from the Muslims only....That is why starting with OBL,Dawood Ibrahim to HS and many more find sanctuary in your nation.....
