In a contractual agreements, there is nothing like russian choice or french choice.

And if a Partner, tearing off the agreements and breaching every clauses,, then yes its a matter of french reliability. And its not Indian choice, the French already doing with one of its partner, so what guarantee the French can make that they cant do the same with India?

Most legitimate business do refund, it's called business ethics. Apart from ethics businesses want their clients to be satisfied so they can continue doing business. The majority of business use receipts so even if there is no obligation to refund or exchange a business that has integrity and good business ethics will almost always refund your money or exchange your product.


Businesses that are under contract especially ones that have already been payed in advanced have no say, it does not matter if they are happy or not, they must deliver what they agreed to. Simply taking the money and not handing over the client for what they paid is called theft.

There is a threat, that is case of sanctions on India, France pull out under western pressure. But France is always remain alright, even they didnt condemned India during Pokharan-2.

And about the damn thing, did you even read the Indian MEA press release after Crimea episode?
