Moro National Liberation Front resumes armed struggle against Philippines

Nur Misuari and his MNLF has had their moment. After a peace deal with then Pres. Fidel Ramos, the ARMM was created and he was the overwhelming choice to be the ARMM governor. But he wasted his chance until his people no longer want to retain him. When he was unseated, he resorted to rebellion. Again, he was pardoned by the Pres. Gloria Arroyo government and promised not to incite rebellion or similar acts ever again. And now, here they come again..

If there will always be a breakaway group in the peace deals, there will never be an end to this struggle. There must only be one group the Philippine Government should make a deal with. One who can guarantee majority support from the people and one who can suppress breakaway groups to include the bandit groups out there to extort money.

Nur misuari had his chance for 10yrs to make ARMM a prosperous place and millions of pesos were allocated to that place via pork barrel. And people wonder why ARMM is still a shitty place while nur misuari and his goons have rpgs and 50.cal snipers

The Moro National Liberation Front (Nur Misauri's faction) declared the independence of the Moro Nation (Bangsamoro) in August. I opened a thread on this earlier.

Declare independence they may, but seriously, when your ideology is built on myth and the majority of people don't even support you, you better check yourself in towards the nearest mental institution. :omghaha:

Perhaps in the future, Bangsamoro President Nur Misuari will have Benigno Aquino III locked up in the biggest mental institution along with all the Philippine government officials currently in power. The Republic of Bangsamoro can then re- establish cordial relations with the Republic of Luzon, the Igorot Republic of Cordillera and the Republic of Visayas. Then the three countries of the Maharlika archipelago can exist peacefully for the first time in 400 years and Maharlikans will no longer have to wage war.

It is the Luzonian and Visayan Indios who identify as Filipino who need to check into the mental instutions, because last time I checked Filipino referred to people of Spanish mestizo descent. Not native Indios.

And I'm still waiting for that statitics, percentage and surveys that the nur misuari and his goons represent a large percentage of the moro themselves civilians.
I'm also waiting for statitics, percentage and surveys that shows the moro people wants independence since,
But Abdul Sahirin, secretary general of the MNLF-Sema faction told ANC that they do not support the move by armed men loyal to Misuari.

“No we don’t support this, this move for independence. This is about power. Independence is secondary,” Sahirin said.
And for this..
Republic of Luzon
Igorot Republic of Cordillera
Republic of Visayas
Any statistics or surveys that you're incapable of showing would be most welcomed.

Edit..
Good job finding a news article from 2008 about maharlika. It actually shows that naming a country is purely an INTERNAL AFFAIR.

It shows there are actually people not brainwashed by 300 years of Spanish rule.

David C. Martinez - author, activist, and independent scholar
Lela Noble - professor of political science (emerita) at San Jose State University
Donald K. Emmerson (moderator) - Stanford University

Poverty, inequality, and corruption plague the Philippines six decades after independence. Of the past five presidents, only one took office and left it without military intervention, and he was a general. In his controversial book, A Country of Our Own (2004), David Martinez describes the Philippines as a failed state. The country in his eyes comprises five regions ("nations"): Cordillera, Luzon, The Visayas, Mindanao, and Bangsamoro. He proposes holding legally binding referenda in each of these places to determine whether those who live there wish to remain inside the Philippines or form their own independent country. In a conversation moderated by Stanford's Don Emmerson, Martinez and the Filipinist scholar Lela Noble will examine arguments and evidence relevant to a crucial question: Is the nation-state project still valid for the Philippines?

David C. Martinez was born in the Philippines. At law school in Silliman University he was a medal-winning debater. He became an activist lawyer, was briefly detained when then-President Marcos declared martial law, fled the Philippines, and eventually reached the US, where he now resides. His essays have appeared in the Philippines Free Press among other publications, and he is a prize-winning author of fiction and poetry as well.

Lela Noble has written extensively on the Philippines. Her authored or edited books include Organizing for Democracy: NGOs, Civil Society, and the Philippine State (1998); Philippine Policy toward Sabah: A Claim to Independence (1977), and her articles have appeared in such journals as Asian Survey and Solidarity. From 1996 to 2002, she was dean of the College of Social Sciences at San Jose State. Her PhD is from the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy.

Philippines is built on myth, thats why Misuari's MNLF refers to it as a "fabricated" state and says it is the inheritor of Spanish, American, and Japanese colonialism since unified Philippines didn't exist before western colonialism.

A handful of countries didn't exist before before the 1900's, idiot. Does that undermine the sovereignty of those countries now?

How many treaties were violated in the creation of those countries? And yes, Yugoslavia and Czechoslovakia didn't exist before the 1900s and were artificial creations - oops they got split apart.

Lets remember that Yugoslavia was made out of all Southern Slavic peoples. The Orthodox Slavs, Catholic Slavs, and Muslim Slavs all went their separate ways. Czechoslovakia was made out of both Catholic Slavic peoples and it got axed in two.

The Philippiens rule over the Moro doesn't have legal legitimacy since it was based on violating the Bates Treaty and it is very corrupt and poverty is rife.

Those countries got split apart since the people wanted too. Now tell me, where are the statistics or surveys that the moro civilians wanted independence? (CURRENT) Where are the revolutions? Where are the rallies? Where are the petitions?
We only got 1 conflict by nur misuari because he wanted to stop the PEACE talks.
That makes him quite a shitty person.

And do you know why ARMM is a shitty place? because nur misuari, had been the governor of that place for 10 fuckin years!!. Millions of our tax payers money we're allocated to that place. And the place was still a shithole while his goons are now packing their shiny new toy guns.

You keep spouting that bates treaty to make it look like it happened recently. But the truth is, that happened in fuckin 1899. How the fuc,k is that relevant now? 2013?
Here's a tip, it isn't.

Last time I checked, Ameril Umbra Kato and Nur Misuari are two persons and MNLF and BIFF are separate organizations.

Gulf Times - MNLF chief defers his

Surrounded by his most trusted leaders and loyal lieutenants, including Ustadz Habier Malik and Khaid Ajibun, Misuari was many times interrupted by the chanting of a huge crowd of MNLF members who raised their weapons in the air as a show of support to his cause.

Its being reported in fact that Habier Malik is personally leading the operation in Zamboanga.

Bates Treaty is relevant because it was the breaking of that Treaty by the Americans which led to the illegal conquest and annexation of the Moro lands into the Philippines state, which is a creation of America.

Normally every time things like this happens in other countries, the group responsible for this act of terror will be harshly dealt with unlike here...that's why the rebels just kept on doing the wrong thing as they please.

say wipe those terrorist out of our country once and for all and be done with it.

This is the Philippines, one country, one nation. Once you bear arms against it and started killing military personnel and civilians, taking hostages...you are considered a "TERRORIST".
