More than 50 afghan soldiers killed:IG FC

das not possible bro

50 is highly inflated figure when most of afghan troops just left their positions
we got the 50 figure initially on the very first day from our fellowsvon ground in balochistan i shared that info in that attack thread you can check there . though the total was not verified at that time so i added a note to my post later but left the earlier comment as it is. 30 were confirmed by that time

.
Sorry brother but i dont buy this feel good moment for domestic consumption. If you have a link please share if not may i ask to not boast about nothing. It is shameful that a country like Afghanistan has the audacity of cross over and hold Pakistanis as hostages and than start bombing Pakistani areas with artillery while we are sitting on our asses and only forced to reply just as your post states.
i started thread as soon as the press conference finished.
below i have given links and who press conference news.

50 Afghan soldiers killed, 100 injured in retaliatory firing to Chaman cross-border attack: IG FC

Inspector General (IG) Frontier Corps (FC) Balochistan Maj Gen Nadeem Anjum on Sunday claimed that 50 Afghan security personnel were killed and another 100 injured as Pakistani forces retaliated to unprovoked firing by Afghan border forces on security personnel in Balochistan's Chaman area last week.

He added, however, that "we are not happy over their losses since they are our Muslim brothers".

The IG FC was briefing the media over a recent cross-border attack in Chaman, in which 12 people were killed and 40 injured when Afghan border forces opened fire on security personnel guarding a census team, although Afghanistan had been informed of the exercise in advance.

The attack caused residents in Killi Luqman, Killi Jahangir and Badshah Adda Kahol evacuating their homes as Chaman was shut down and security ramped up in Quetta and other parts of Balochistan.

The FC Balochistan chief said four or five check posts were also destroyed when Pakistani border guards retaliated to the cross-border attack.

Gen Anjum said that on May 5, Afghanistan pleaded for ceasefire, which Pakistan accepted.

The FC Balochistan chief said that Afghan authorities targeted civilians even though they had been informed about the on-going census exercise.

Earlier, Commander Southern Command Lt Gen Aamir Riaz termed the cross-border attack as 'shameful'.

"This was a shameful act to target civilians at the border villages of Pakistan," Riaz told journalists at Chaman during a visit to the area.

He said that Afghanistan would not benefit from such attacks in any way and that the Afghan government should be ashamed of such acts.

It is very sad so many muslims lost life but Afghan left Pakistan no option listening to India. I told about Afghan casualties yesterday and also Afghan Army posts were destroyed in the strikes. May Allah give some sense to Northern Alliance. Taliban are gaining ground every day Taliban also took control of Kunduz road yesterday. Afghan Gov has no option left other than coming to terms with Pakistan.

He stated very much what you stated in that thread when it was happening. Bharwana and arsalan as well. Nobody was more chilled and relaxed about a retaliation than @Icarus...

credit where due. your information was amazing.

. .
why do u abuse me.. im right it's not possible to kill 50 soldiers and then count their bodies. apply some common sense.
we cleared our area from them
Also we have strong intelligence presence in afghanistan and listen to their communication intercepts.
By the way they wouldn't have begged for ceasefire with just 4 dead.

he gave minimum confirm afghan casualities. If you see afghan media video afghan soldiers were without helmets or any bullet proof jacket while our paramilitary in the same video looked like a heavily equipped army even though they were FC. 50+ casualities are no doubt destined to happen also when were using drones and helicopters to gather information and plan our targets.

We in pakistan don't care what the Indians think. If you be live the incident or not is irrelevant. What is important is that a huge firefight took place and the army you help train got their but kicked. This was not a surgical strike like Indian movies where with one punch an Indian can knock out 20 guys. Pakistan army was even sorry for their losses and didn't rejoice but had to take robust action to teach the afghanis a lesson that you cannot mess with a professional disciplined force. Message to India 'TAKE NOTE' do not miscalculate whilst drink on cow urine and feaces

Its hard to believe Pak army. They would deny Surgical strikes done by India but would make similar claims for Afghanistan. Another interesting thing to notice is that their attack ALWAYS results in death of soldiers while attack on them ALWAYS results in death of civilians.

An army that can go to the extent of doing the below can do anything to save its image among public, even if it involves spreading lies.

nobody is asking indians to believe. as far the induan surgical strike you indians are not allowed to question and ask for proofs from Indian army which itself makes the strikes doubtful

we denied surgical even though india exposed us by giving evidences including drone footagesm helmet cam and name of targets( as it was a surgical strike). Pakistan army is so big liar that despite the fact that UN military observes accepting surgical strike, foreign media visiting the strike places and supported indian stance Pakistan army is not accepting it.

Like always mr correct...ispr.
Not ISPR, IG FC.
afghans begged for cease fire is an established fact. Villages are in our control right now are established facts.
What IG FC said can be seen on ground. Afghan soldiers using homes of Pakistanis before and now Pakistan army is controlling those homes is an established fact and all of those facts can be seen in afghan media video shared on defence.pk until yesterday.

Commander Southern Command Lieutenant General Aamir Riaz visited Chaman today to review the post attack situation in the area.

Talking to the newsmen, he said Afghan forces committed a shameful act by targeting innocent civilians through mortar shells attack.

General Aamir said that such attacks would not benefit Afghanistan in any way and the Afghan government should be ashamed of such type of imprudent acts.

He added that Pakistani artillery also retaliated to the Afghan forces’ attack with full might and they resorted to destroy from four to five check posts of Afghanistan.

He said that such types of un-provocative attacks are in no way acceptable to us.

He said that the Afghan government has adopted a negative approach towards Pakistan and it targeted our territory challenging our sovereignty.

He, however, said that they would no more be let to repeat such practice again.

Replying to a query, General Aamir said that the Bab-e-Dosti on Pak-Afghan border would remain close till normalcy of the situation.

Replying to another question, he said that Pakistan government is trying its level best to mend the situation.

Earlier, General Aamir visited Civil Hospital Chaman and inquired after the health of the people injured in the Friday’s tragic incident.

Inspector General Frontier Corps Balochistan, Major General Nadeem Anjum and other high-ranking civil and military officials accompanied him during the visit.

Cross border fire to me is like traffic jam is to a lot of people. Comes with the territory. I have gone through it enough times to have complete faith in my comrades and know that their response will always be befitting of the enemy's ill-fated attempt at adventurism.
